New to nipple clamping? Rebecca Dane is too. She decided to try out Kink Craft's nipples sticks to see if they delivered on all the hype. Read on to find out if they gave her some much-desired sweet pain or if they were just a pain in the ass...

Next-level nipple play for beginners.

I’ve come to realize that my nipples are a very picky part of my body. Some days they are too sensitive to touch, other days I need my partner to bite them harder. Nipple play can either turn me on immediately or ruin the moment. They have a mind of their own, and they either want to be squeezed hard or they want any itchy beard to stay far, far away from them. Thankfully, I have a very respectful and cautious partner, so when he hears me say ‘harder… harderharder” he knows exactly what to do.

The days where I need intense nipple stimulation are unfortunately not as frequent as I would hope, which is why I was a bit nervous about using nipple sticks for the first time. Nipple sticks are essentially nipple clamps in a different form. Nipple sticks from Kink Craft are reminiscent of two chopsticks tied together… except more fun than any take out menu.

People can enjoy nipple play for a variety of reasons and sensations but I particularly enjoy the ‘sweet pain’ that it can cause, and I know I’m not the only one. Nipple clamps cause pain by pinching the nipple and restricting blood flow. There is also a different sensation when they are removed and blood flow can fully return to your nipples. If you’ve ever enjoyed having your nipples pinched or bitten, then you might find yourself enjoying an accessory to intensify the sensation.

Please note that there are safety considerations when using any form of nipple clamps.

  • Clamps work by reducing the blood flow and can potentially be dangerous if you leave them on for too long.
  • General Internet advice is to only use them for maximum 10 minutes for the first time before you can gradually build up a tolerance to them.
  • You should never dive right into to using them for a prolonged period of time.

Please remember that if your skin ever turns purple, then you need to remove the accessories immediately.

Nipple Sticks

The Kink Craft Nipple Sticks are thankfully designed for beginners like me!

While they might look like two sleek pairs of chopsticks held together by rubber bands. They are genius in their simplicity.

  • Rubber bands create easily adjustable strength.
  • Moving rubber bands closer towards the middle creates greater pressure.
  • More pressure = restricted blood flow = sweet pain

When you start using them, I’d recommend putting them on the ‘lowest’ pressure, which means keeping the rubber bands as far away from each other as possible.

In use, the Kink Craft Nipple Sticks are easy to use and surprisingly enjoyable when I’m in the mood for them. I would never try them on a super-sensitive nipple day. I always make sure that they are on the lowest pressure setting possible to be able to assess my tolerance in the moment. On the lowest setting, they often don’t cause any pain at all and just give a little light pinch. At first, it is a very subtle sensation that slowly builds up as you wear them for longer and longer.

"When I feel like I need to remove them, they are just as easy to take off as they are to put on, which I think is essential for a beginner. Being able to easily remove them keeps my mind at ease when I wear them. It also adds for a fairly seamless addition or removal of the nipple sticks to our sex session."

The only time I have found them to be uncomfortable was when I have been in a position that caused friction against something or my partner – for example, missionary style doesn’t work for me as I often brush up against my partner. Thankfully, there are plenty other positions that we enjoy that work well with the sticks!

If you want to try the nipple sticks on other parts of your body (like a labia clamp), you can do that too because the rubber bands are adjustable. Please read up on the safety of clamping other body parts prior to attempting it.

"I love that these particular sticks are adjustable because as mentioned, my nipples are quite picky and they like to change their minds a lot. We have the ability to change the pressure and sensation based on how my nipples are feeling. They are simple, adjustable and unintimidating."

Initially, I was a bit nervous to try any type of nipple clamp but after enjoying the ease and adjustability of the Kink Craft Nipple Sticks, I was delighted at the amplified sensation that an accessory can provide. They have been a great addition to our sessions together (and can also be worn when solo, of course!). I haven’t yet been able to wear them on their highest pressure setting, but that is totally okay. I enjoy how perfect they are for a beginner like myself.

Thankfully, Kink Craft is a very inclusive brand and makes sure all of their products are gender-neutral and affordable. If you’re looking to take your nipple pinching, biting or squeezing to the next level, I would recommend purchasing a pair of these sticks. If other aspects of BDSM interest you, then Kink Craft has some great DIY kits for things like floggers, handcuffs and other accessories too!
