Social acceptance for the BDSM community may be a distant dream, but sites like fetster.com are building a global network of users drawn together by their love of kinkiness. Fetish.com takes a look.

Fetster.com focuses on BDSM community spirit

The site aims to unite people for any number of reasons, providing a glossary for newbies to disclose the more cryptic BDSM terms. Fester.com is all about inclusivity, so dating is just one aspect of this impressive site. Education and schmoozing are also a massive part of the fetster.com experience, with the various groups fostering a very intimate, social atmosphere. With such a supportive community spirit, there’s no pressure to link up with specific members to be part of it, and you don’t feel guilty about having to pass if someone isn’t right for you.

Navigating Fester.com

Both the US and the UK are well represented, with plenty of events, dates and groups from each. Fetster.com also has some nice little touches, like a positive piece of writing about BDSM in the mainstream and an extremely well-stocked photo album of available users.

Either browse around picking out hotties to meet or if shyness overwhelms you, just enjoy looking at the pictures and getting a feel for the site. In another area, blogs give members the chance to introduce themselves, vent about their problematic love lives or offer advice. Posts are tagged by areas of interest, and a list of tags enables you to find pet subjects quickly.

Exploring groups on Fester.com

The groups are also a place to explore specialisations; these cover many areas of BDSM and most have witty little subheadings signposting their purpose. ‘Wee like Pee’ is one of the best, used by the Waterworks group, just click on the Join Group button to be part of it.

Once you enlist and begin to interact with the community, your profile displays a timeline. This includes your joining date, any photos you upload, the groups you join and profile edits. Just like Facebook, each entry has a clickable link, making it far easier to keep track and participate. You can send virtual gifts in the form of cute little images, follow people, or add someone as a friend if you’d like to keep an eye on them.

Fester.com is tailored to your BDSM experience

With such a plethora of options, you can practically tailor-make a search for your next playmate. Choose from a vast array of orientations, sexuality, gender and location. When your ideal partners are revealed, you can select one from the latest profiles uploaded or those who are currently online or featured members. Moreover, there's a genuine attempt to match you up on more than fetish and BDSM likes alone. For example, you are asked about your willingness to relocate, your attitude to drugs, your income and education.

Most members have photos and a fully formed profile, but a significant number still have to pluck up the courage or make an effort. However, that is less of a problem here because Fester.com's signup section demands certain answers before letting you proceed. As a result, stats and basic details are usually complete.

Group fun: a look at Fester.com's forum

Fester.com is free

Fetster.com costs nothing, and you can move around the site joining groups and sending chat messages as much as you like. The site owners are keen to stress how carefully they treat your data. Furthermore, users can decide for themselves what information to publicise and to whom.

On signing up, you are presented with a huge list of questions. Some people might find this slightly dull, but it’s a great way of making you focus on what you’re after. Additionally, it helps Fester.com match you up appropriately. You can go into detail about the kind of fetish you have or BDSM scene you're into, what you’re looking for and who you’d like to do it with.

Security is high; you have to agree to a number of disclaimers about taking responsibility for your personal safety and also that your photos are legal. Again it’s time-consuming, but by adopting a business-like approach to safeguarding privacy, fetster.com demonstrates a real commitment to their kinky and BDSM loving users.

If you're a girl and the admin wants you, he will go into your account, change it to say you are fake, have you removed, and he will have enough information about you to harass you himself. Which he has been doing to me for days. He clearly thinks all submissives must obey him or else they aren't real. I gave him everything he asked for to prove I am real, and it was never enough. He said I am problematic to the lifestyle because I refused to let him invade my personal life. What a joke. And to think this guy takes care of kids??? Yikes. Don't go on this site if you want any type of privacy. You do not have any saftey or privacy on Fetster. I don't like the idea of a site where the admin can change your profile and screw you over without warning, no matter how genuine you are. I hope they get shut down.

They track and log your information you for their personal use and not for marketing purposes. They claim, even if you browse anonymously, they can invade your privacy despite appearing that they're against it. This website is a very high level phishing website. Watch out. The owners are fraudulent people.
