Bdsm is just an exercise to be a dirty sex fiend. Discuss.

What are you thoughts on this perception of BDSM?

hm? you wont make much friend here with that statement....

some form of bdsm doesnt involved sex. And the primary reason of bdsm is control not sex.

Hi Paul
I am sure it can be and I am usre there are 1000's of others who would tell you that that is a fairly meaningless question.

Maybe you should expand on it a little a to get the 'discussion' flowing some more....

What do you mean by 'exercise' and 'dirty sex fiend' -   one for me is a form of fitness (possibly) - the other sounds like a 'B movie' that the Cramps might do the soundtrack for  (and I would listen to that).

I think what hes trying to ask is 'Do you think BDSM is just about sex or is there more to it?'

And I would say yes.

BDSM, for me, it's about a sub trusting there Dom to insure there sexual happiness and health. It's about a Dom getting to know there subs limits and insuring sexual happiness and health for both. But most of all it about growing with someone getting to know each other on a sexual level.

That is pretty much how i would have read it or assumed the gist of the question.

However I dont think you use the words 'dirty sex fiend' without semi consciously disclosing a certain bias to the meaning?

For me it is one of those questions that has no specific answer but numerous opinions from the individuals / people involved - personally I am happy to hear all sides of it.

Plenty of people think everything revolves around sex, that's just how they perceive things. The conservative government in the uk right now do see a lot of BDSM stuff as criminal, they banned pee porn and some other stuff, but it doesn't mean it is immoral behaviour. So long as people consent i don't see how it can be criminal really.

Wow how closeinded of a statement. I disagree like any other relationship it is based on trust communication and respect. Strength isn't about kicking ass or hurting.. The strength is trusting and submission. Taking the chance and putting yourself out there all the way. Taking that chance..
