I have never been placed in a chastity device but the thought of it intrigues me. I am interested to know if there are any dangers in using chastity devices, how long it is safe to keep someone locked in one (would it be a few hours, days, or as long as you wanted?),  and what are the best chastity devices to use, metal or plastic/pvc?

metal is likely better but some people have their own preferences.

I've heard tell of people locked in chastity for a long long time - but it is important to keep checking and remove if it gets dangerous/uncomfortable.

I spent 9 months locked in a plastic CB3000 with monthly milkings (and my hands tied behind my back). I found plastic better as keeping things clean was easier and allowed inspections which metal ones make more difficult. Also, I flew for work whilst locked and the plastic cage with a serial number plastic lock meant no hassle and no escape (without ruining the contract).
