Why does latex seem to be a dirty subject when people speak about it. In my local swinger's club mention latex and people close up on you anyone else have that issue

can't say I've had the issue - but - swingers clubs are generally more "normal people into sex" than kinky people and latex is deemed a little more kinky. 

and/or

Perhaps you're in the wrong clubs.
