Deleted Member Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Hi all I'm still new to this all and just started chatting with someone who claims to be from a few towns over from me, but she wants me to fill out this link she emailed me before meeting up called "Casual Hookup Clearance" is apparently something that certifies you as being safe to hookup with, or as being real. But since I don't know her, have never heard of it before, and is an email link, I'm approaching with caution and want to make sure it's legit.
ey**** Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 it's a scam. sorry. while the concept of doing some vetting on someone you're planning on meeting up with IS a good idea.... I did a little google on Casual Hookup Clearance - found the website and there's so many red flags - you give a bunch of personal info away AND pay a subscription fee : among anything else, background checks can be done without payment. But, also - it's not even a proper website - and, yeah, a couple of results down dictates it's a scam.
