No you are not alone. I both enjoy the act of trimming and shaving my partner. I enjoy being groomed too but unfortunately my current partner isn’t really comfortable with it. Not that she is opposed to it but she’s worried she might screw it up somehow. Despite many discussions about how in my opinion it’s not possible to screw up. The worst that might happen is a razor nick which I’m just as likely to do myself as she is. She does enjoy when I trim and shave her says it’s very relaxing. I have a whole pampering ritual that I do each time so it is not something quick.

I didn't think of it as a kink, but there is something sensual about letting someone be so close to you and touch you, and allow yourself to be ***, especially with a wet shave thrown in when they put the blade against your neck.

Is it a kink, if I just really like the feeling without feeling any arousal? I like my hair being washed. Especially the trimming maschine in the neck feels like a massage. Having my beard trimmed is relaxing. The blade feels nice and the oil in the end smells good... I just fail to see anything sexual in it.

I always groom my playmate or partner. I never thought of it to be a kink I thought it was cuz I highly value being clean. I guess I would say I have that kink and I love caretaking its one of my values!
