As a body mod/next gen surgeon, I would discourage doing anything drastic unless you’ve experienced some less intensive recovery and mods first. What is your experience with mods thus far? Are you interested at all in digital body mods? (I.e., keyless entry for smartcars, digital safes, phones, etc.
