If he doesn't want me to tell them

Or want the world to know, 

Does that mean he's ashamed of me,

Or embarrassed, worse or more?

 

How is keeping me a secret

Supposed to make me feel?

I (can) feel lesser and unworthy,

But it makes this feel unreal.

 

Does keeping me a secret

Feed into his fantasies?

Is he searching for something or someone more,

Something he doesn't get from me?

 

Or is he simply private,

Wrapped up in his own world?

His unwillingness to claim me publicly

Nothing more than this is for us?

 

I don’t know why this matters

So much to me lately. 

But I desperately want the world to know

He’s mine and I am his. 

 

I will respect his wishes,

I’d never cross his lines, 

But getting this out, on paper,

Helps me to understand (mine).

 

And of course I know the answers

To the questions posed above.

I asked him like a good girl,

His sub, his pixie and his love.

Ok, this is not a post for people to comment telling me he’s hiding me and questioning his choices or telling me to question mine. You’re welcome to your opinions, this is after all a public post, but the point of it was for me to verbalise my thoughts and gain clarity through my writing. He has his reasons for his decisions and wishes and I understand them. I might not agree with his viewpoint but the world would be pretty damn boring if we were all the same.
