Bound by choice

Together they challenged each other, taking their time as twine, rope, and straps slowly found their place. There was never any hurry. He had a habit of making anticipation last far longer than she thought possible—and, infuriatingly, he was always right.

His hands never hesitated. Every knot was deliberate, every attachment precise, every pause intentional. She’d roll her eyes, laugh under her breath, and pretend she wasn’t impatient, while he answered with that knowing smile that said, Not yet.

She could be wonderfully needy, but she’d learned that patience was part of the game. He would bring her right to the edge of her resolve, only to keep her waiting just a little longer, delighting in every playful challenge she offered.

It wasn’t simply the rope that held her—it was the trust, the quiet confidence between them, and the unspoken promise that he knew exactly how far to push… and exactly when to let her win.

God damn I love this.
