Age is a number yes, but it's also a measure of life experience.

For example, I have zero interest in men half my age because I don't want to teach anyone. The youngest I will even consider is 28.

Age matters to me at a certain point. I think anything above 40 is fine. But that 30-39 section is crucial for people and having an older person in your life at that time can be very limiting for some. People need their early 30s to fix their own mistakes. It’s how they grow

I'm definitely not interested in younger. That's just preference, I actually prefer older myself. But 8 to 10 years at most. People my own age give me shivers, often because they don't know much. Older people are still a bit daft but definitely risk being more knowledgeable and at my wavelength intelligence wise than some others. I've always been older than I am, so someone my own age is never even getting a look in.

I'm not as young as I once was, be at the mid life point of view.... I go younger, always have, for the fun only. Anything much more and definitely my or higher. I would just say your best match up is with someone that has had similar life experiences. Simular in intensity, duration, part of life, and yes same categories. Sounds like alot but that why old folks use to go and dates was to figure those things out among other situations.

I'm 38, and recently have noticed that I must be at the mid point between ages. I've dealt with women anywhere from 40-61, and interactions happen daily, they're more direct and blatant in their approach. I live in an area where majority of the men are gay or bi sexual, and the female to male ratio is crazy. Not to mention it's a pretty beachy type scene, and I'm from the city.
Younger ones, you can see it in their faces, and they tend to stare, that's how you know. Like where I work, there's alot of younger women at the front end.
I've only been with two there, 19 and 22. The 19 year old was a bit awkward because she can't even drink yet, so it's like what so you do? Luckily she wasn't interested in dates. They just wanna smoke and vibe, and that's cool as hell to me.
They're more open, she's taken video and shared it in group chats. The other one has a girlfriend. Where as older women are 'clutch' and since schedules often clash, theyre down for parking lot rendezvous in the car.

I seem to like younger.. The whole idea of being able to teach someone things I know about from life experience is hot 😇. Like if I hear about her about to get into something dangerous, that I did / know about, I like to share what I know or steer someone towards something healthier or safe etc..

Just a number, based More on personality and shaped by life experiences. Dating older or younger has it's pro's and con's and may guide which way that number goes with what you seek or need from a partner. It's your business, no body else's.
