Berlin in late June, three days at a former military bakery turned playground for everything modern adult culture has to offer. We're packing our bags, and we'd love to see you there.

Here's what's happening, who's showing up, and where to find the FET team on the floor!

What is SX Festival & Expo 2026?

SX Festival & Expo is one of Europe's leading events for modern sex culture, kink, sex tech, and creator economy. Think talks, live shows, workshops, an expo floor, immersive experiences, and a community that actually shows up for each other.

It runs from June 26–28, 2026, at the Heeresbäckerei Berlin (Köpenicker Straße 16) - a raw, industrial venue that fits the energy of the event perfectly.

Three days, three different vibes:

  • Friday, June 26 — SXMA Awards Gala (the Sex Marketing Awards, RSVP only)
  • Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28 — SX Festival & Expo, 11 AM–8:30 PM
  • Saturday night, June 27 — Red Moon Party from 9:30 PM onward

The organizers describe the weekend as a multidisciplinary adult event blending entertainment, art, and live shows. Translation: this is not a stuffy industry conference. Sex educators, sexologists, top creators, kink communities, fashion, and tech - all under one roof.

Why Berlin makes sense for this

Berlin already lives the values SX Festival champions. The city has been a home for kink, fetish, queer, and sex-positive culture for decades. Hosting an event like this anywhere else would feel forced. Here, it just feels like Saturday.

The Heeresbäckerei adds to that: a former military bakery in Mitte, all brick and steel, the kind of space that softens nothing and apologizes for nothing. Right at home.

What it actually feels like to be there

Want a real sense of the vibe? Here's a member of our extended community looking back on SX Festival 2025:

I had the chance to be at SX Festival last year, and what can I say? It was an amazing experience from start to finish. The biggest highlight for me was finally meeting the people behind the scenes, the ones you usually only know from the digital world. As someone still pretty new to the industry, that was exactly what I'd been missing: a network, honest conversations, real inspiration. It gave me a sense of community I didn't know I needed.

The program was strong, too. I caught a FemDom workshop hosted by Ivana Justice, founder of FemDom France, and learned a ton, even as someone who's not a Domina herself. And yes, the goodie bag was elite. I went home with a full tote and a huge smile. A solid 10 out of 10. See you next year.

If that sounds like your kind of weekend, keep reading.

Can't make it to Berlin? The community doesn't pause when the festival ends. FET is where this same crowd lives the rest of the year. Kink-curious to seasoned kinkster, 24/7 chat, real conversations, real people. Free to join, free to message. Join FET — it's free →

What's on the program

The full schedule drops closer to the event, but the bones are already public. The Festival is built around four main areas, each with its own flavor:

  • Kink Garden — performance space for the more theatrical, immersive side of the weekend
  • Sensual Stage — panels and talks on pleasure, connection, and modern intimacy
  • Sex Edu Stage — workshops and education-focused sessions
  • Kink Market — a curated marketplace and experience zone

Some confirmed sessions worth circling:

  • Kylie Darlings performing "Deconstructing Ideas Around Sexuality" in the Kink Garden (Saturday)
  • Susan Bratton on the Sensual Stage with "Crossing the 'Gasm Chasm: Activating and Expanding Your Female Orgasmic Potential"
  • Maddie Sin, Muse Sacred, and LOLA on "Sober Sex: Building Confidence and Connection Again"
  • Moonlight Society running a workshop called "Exploring Arousal Beyond the Physical"
  • Magdalena Piech holding Bitter Moon Tarot experiences across both days

And then there's the Red Moon Party on Saturday night. This is a separate ticketed event, capacity is limited, and it tends to be where the weekend really lets its hair down.

We're up for three SXMA Awards

Quick brag, then we move on.

The Sex Marketing Awards (SXMA) honor the brands, campaigns, and collaborations shaping where modern adult culture is headed. We're nominated in three categories this year:

  • Best Social Media Campaign — for "KnK Explained" by FET. Our love letter to the kinky and the curious, a series built around demystifying kink without making it weird, scary, or exclusive.
  • Best Creative Collaboration — POPCORN x Ally Iseman. Ally is an ICF-certified Modern Relationship Coach, founder of Passport2Pleasure, and one of the most thoughtful voices in consensual non-monogamy and modern relationships today. The collab brought her perspective into POPCORN's world of fantasy-led dating.
  • Best Community Engagement — for POPCORN.

Tickets, access, and the practical bits

There are three main ways in:

  • Festival Pass: €45 and up. For curious explorers — gets you into talks, shows, workshops, and the expo floor.
  • Creator Pass: free entry for adult content creators (apply through the SX Tech site). A full Creator Access tier is also available.
  • Business Pass: from €125, B2B only, for industry professionals.

The Red Moon Party on Saturday night requires its own ticket and tends to sell out, so don't sleep on it.

All ticketing runs through Eventbrite via the official SX Tech site (sxtech.eu).

Who actually goes to this?

Short answer: people who care about modern sex culture and want to be in the room with others who get it.

Longer answer: kinksters, creators, sex educators, sexologists, sex tech founders, fetish artists, performers, dating app teams, journalists, sex-positive nerds, the openly curious, and a fair number of people who just want a weekend that doesn't ask them to dim themselves.

If you've ever wished you could spend three days in a space where talking about pleasure, kink, and connection is just the topic, this is that space.

FAQ

What is the Red Moon Party?

The Red Moon Party is the official party of SX Festival 2026, taking place Saturday night, June 27, starting at 9:30 PM. It's a separate ticketed event held alongside the festival. Capacity is limited, and the party historically sells out, so booking early is recommended.

Will FET be at SX Festival 2026?

Yes. FET will be hosting a booth at SX Festival 2026, focused on community, kink, and connecting kinksters. FET's sister brand POPCORN will share part of the space. Both apps are part of the Ideawise Group. FET is also nominated for three SXMA Awards in 2026: Best Social Media Campaign (for "KnK Explained"), Best Creative Collaboration (POPCORN x Ally Iseman), and Best Community Engagement (POPCORN).

What is "KnK Explained" by FET?

"KnK Explained" is FET's flagship social media campaign, a series built around demystifying kink and BDSM lifestyles for both the kink-curious and experienced kinksters. The campaign breaks down kinks, fetishes, and BDSM dynamics in accessible, judgment-free language. It is nominated for Best Social Media Campaign at the SXMA 2026 Awards. You can find the campaign on FET's Instagram at @fet__app.

Who is Ally Iseman, and what is her collaboration with POPCORN?

Ally Iseman is an ICF-certified Modern Relationship Coach, the founder of Passport2Pleasure, and one of the most recognized voices in consensual non-monogamy and modern relationships. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Telegraph, Cosmopolitan, and Grazia. Her collaboration with POPCORN brings her perspective on ethical non-monogamy and modern dating into POPCORN's fantasy-led platform. The collab is nominated for Best Creative Collaboration at SXMA 2026.

When are the SXMA Awards 2026 winners announced?

Winners are revealed at the SXMA Awards Gala on Friday, June 26, 2026, the opening night of SX Festival. The gala is RSVP only and held at the Heeresbäckerei Berlin. The 2026 categories include Best Social Media Campaign, Best Creative Collaboration, Best Community Engagement, Best Marketing Agency, Launch of the Year, and others.

Is SX Festival the same as a fetish weekend like Folsom Berlin?

No. SX Festival is structured as a multidisciplinary event combining adult entertainment, sex tech, sex education, and creator culture, with talks, panels, and an expo floor. Public-facing fetish weekends like Folsom Europe or Fetish Weekend events are built around parties, dress-code play spaces, and social immersion in fetish culture. SX Festival sits closer to the industry/creator/community side of the same wider scene, though it does include performances and party elements (such as the Red Moon Party).

Is SX Festival LGBTQ+ and beginner-friendly?

Yes. SX Festival is explicitly inclusive. The program covers a wide range of identities, orientations, and relationship structures, including queer, polyamorous, kink-curious, and beginner audiences. Past editions have featured panels on queer engagement, female empowerment, ethical non-monogamy, and beginner-friendly BDSM education. The Sex Edu Stage, in particular, is designed for people new to these topics.

How do I get to Heeresbäckerei Berlin?

The Heeresbäckerei is located at Köpenicker Straße 16, Berlin-Mitte. It is reachable via Berlin's public transport (U-Bahn / S-Bahn / bus) from the city center within roughly 15 minutes. The venue is a historic former military bakery and is now used for cultural and event programming.

Where can I follow updates about SX Festival 2026?

Official updates are posted on the SX Tech website (sxtech.eu) and on Instagram (@sxtecheu). FET posts its own SX Festival updates on Instagram (@fet__app). The full program is published in the months leading up to the event, with new speakers and sessions added on a rolling basis.
