Hi,

My name’s Grim. I’m a non-binary autistic fantasy writer who enjoys interesting conversations, long walks, trips to bookshops, urban farms, and art galleries. I’m looking to meet a lovely, kind, emotionally intelligent, and funny person and get to know each other with the hope it grows into a long-term relationship. Maybe one day we’ll even conquer the world from our hidden lair in a secret library. I tend to connect best with other neurodivergent folk, so that would be a lovely bonus.

Friends describe me as pretty chilled, easy to be around, and a good listener. I try to make time for people, check in, and will happily listen to someone enthuse about things they love.

My interests are writing, reading, and playing roleplaying games. I also enjoy history and politics. I love ***s, especially cats, plants, and walking. My favourite books are Declare by Tim Powers and the Laundry Files novels by Charles Stross. I like a lot of music, but my favourite genres are folk and punk, especially Frank Turner, The Interrupters, and Thea Gilmore.

My ambition is to be a full-time fantasy author and poet… or failing that, a cryptid. I spend a fair amount of time scribbling, editing, and daydreaming about stories, so if my hypothetical partner also had a time-consuming passion, we’d be aligned.

Politics are important to me. I’m passionate about the environment and social justice. Spiritually, I’m a pagan, with a strong interest in Gaia and Egyptian myth, particularly around Bast (the cat goddess… that probably tells you everything you need to know)

I’m part of my local kink community, and I’d like to meet someone comfortable with that part of my life. I am mostly a submissive but open to exploring a more dominant role with someone. I’ve grown more switchy as I get older. Trust, communication, and consent are very important to me.

By day I work in university admissions; I run roleplaying games and write fiction at night. Drinking tea is, of course, an all-day activity.

I’m slowly exploring the UK, and recently spent some brilliant days in Cardiff. I’m planning some trips to do some ancient stone bothering at places like Avebury in the near future. I’d love to hear from you if you enjoy books and tea and have strong opinions on stone circles.
