Are men interested in virtual roleplays more than women are?

I've had many "clients" that were interested in an online roleplay with me, but it seems men like this kind of play more than women.

So far, very few ladies wanted a play with me, and if there was one, it was only short-lived. Or, they wanted to meet in real life, which is a no-go for me. Only one girl so far is hanging on.

Otherwise, there were lots of men who enjoyed my virtual world. and they usually stayed around for a decent amount of time.

What to think about this? Maybe, women are looking for a closer connection?

Personally I enjoy online role play, but then that’s just me. Maybe you’re right, perhaps in general women like a closer connection. I guess it also depends on finding the right people?

Of course, it's always about the right people. You can't have much with someone who isn't for you.

Well, if it's truly about closer connection, I can't give that. My physical body is completely useless and repulsive. I'm just a mind, trapped in a withered shell. Texts are all I can give.

I suspect that women are into it too, but more with other women. This is a guess.

Men probably think about sex more, are more visually stimulated than women, are motivated differently toward sex. I dont want to say that we have more sexually active imaginations, Sidorax. But our imaginations are more focused on the visual image of sex. And also, we tend to objectify women. Men relate better to men. I say this because, in my opinion, a man creates a more ideal male fantasy.

That's an interesting statement.

I use only text in my plays, so it's about the description and feelings of the imagined acts.

I guess women look more for originality, and I tend to take form based on my partner's desires and needs, which is probably ideal for men.

I’m a big fan of role play but I’ve found most men generally suck at it. And suck at cyber encounters in general.  There is so much more than just the act of cocks and c*nts and women I think are much deeper into sensuality and story telling

i mean just look at porn men like versus porn women like.

I understand what you mean by it. It's true that I was mainly the one who manipulated and directed the story in my plays. Cyber sex is my only way to have some sexual activity, due to my physical disabilities and bad appearance. I think I'm pretty decent at it, because my partners usually liked it, even the female ones.

I love cyber role-playing. I find it's quite hit and miss, but when you manage to connect with someone and the story you develop together unfolds, its been some of the hottest stuff I've done. The power of the mind...

I find online role play difficult as well.  Maybe men can be more impersonal about the whole thing, hence finding online play easier perhaps.

I like something more 'hands on' personally, and a little more intimate.  And the good news with that is that I could get to know them much better as individuals.

Another reason I would prefer "hands on" is that it leads to a certain amount of expectation or "build up" to a scene, a certain feeling of anticipation, excitement, or even nervousness, if ithink I am going to be punished.

There is nothing better than waiting for the Dominant to turn up at the door, and unlike online domination, they don't have the potential to intrude into in that Submissive's life in times when it is not welcomed.

So I think there are many advantages to "hands on" sessions from my personal perspective.

Of course, I know very well what you mean. I can be totally omnipotent in the virtual world, but the one biggest limit is always the real world. Online plays are solely in the mind, and lack the physical sensation, or surprise.

Though this is the only option for me, due to having a disfigured body and deformed sex organ in real life. That's why I create avatars with better attractiveness and a good condition for certain acts. Unfortunately, I can't turn my imagination physical.
