Pro sub?

Recommended Posts

I was just browsing various threads regarding Femdom and the D/s dynamic in general when a couple of questions popped on my head.

Obviously, there are professional Doms out there in abundance, but I'm curious to know if there is such a thing as a professional sub? If so, who would use one? I really don't mean to offend anyone!!! But I'm guessing they are more likely to be gay rather than straight?

Again, no offence intended! How does one become a pro Dom? Does she start out by dominating for her own pleasure, then one day think "I should start charging for this" and does the switch from self-indulgence to work fundamentally change anything.
My first response to this is: why would a sub automatically be gay if they’re a professional sub?

Interesting way of looking at it

I agree, there are dommes out there who charge for there services, but I’ve never seen any subs charge for theirs

I know there are women out there who are prosubs, I'm sure there probably are others as well but I'd say there's probably not a huge demand from dominant women for prosubs.

I have a friend who's a ProDomme and she's very much a lifestyle kinkster still. There's no sex involved in her pro work.

Me neither but I’m sure there are “pro-subs”.

I know of a prosub locally. Not sure how it would work tbh. But she seems to do very well

Pro Subs exist, yes - and some are a bit more visible

previously there were a lot of Full Service Sex Workers (FSSW) who would offer things akin to submission - but there are now those who market as pro subs, and a fair few as pro switches, or moved to pro switch.  Some of these do not offer sexual services, some do.

There's a handful I can think of that I know personally, or know of - and both men and women.  Again, more women then men but some reason to use them can include, again, going through fantasies - but also honing skills etc.  There are Pro Dommes who will offer "with sub" sessions and they can offer things like Dominating their sub in front of you, Dominating both of you, or allowing you to do things to the sub under supervision/guidance.    Want to tie someone up and cane them? Sure, but the Domme can be on hand to check the rope work and that you're not taking things too far.

Some male pro subs, are bi

Also by technicality there are a lot of male subs who have gone into clip production, with themselves in the video - so by argument they are making *** via their submission.

There's Head Mistress that teach the woman who wants to become a professional Dominant Mistress. Most are part of a organization of many Mistress.
I’m a straight switch that works in the adult industry. My work is almost exclusively as a submissive though. Mostly its on camera work in content, but things like being a bull for a prodomme are also on the table, and I wouldn’t consider that me being a prodom. What I will say is that its basically unheard of for a woman to solicit service from a submissive man in the same way the reverse happens. Sugarmommas are the more frequent approach for that kind of thing, but it also carries with it a connection style that isn’t common in the prodomme world.

The answer of who would use one would be the same in theory though, someone who wants an experience, that ends at the door, often with someone that is highly attractive, highly skilled, or open to highly niche kinks

I wasn't considering content when I first commented, technically it's "pro" work obviously, but as you said, not the same as the reverse of someone seeking a Prodomme.

Sugaring is also not anything that would necessarily come to mind for comparison with kink and bdsm related things for me. As those arrangements seem more vanilla from what I've seen as well as the more involved connection.

I definitely agree with you, those were just the closest things I could think of in the same scope of work, and in some cases touch the idea of “prosub”.

Yep - sugaring the three most common I see are an extension of FSSW (usually instead of one person booking sessions now and then - there is a monthly payment and that includes a minimum level of access including sexting etc on top of meets - this does provide the person being paid with security and regular income, but has to be virtually 'always available' for the other person - and what is agreed is typically less than they might get for individual sessions)   and forms of online Findom (self explanatory) but also often Daddy/daughter role play with someone who is often in college - so help towards study cost in exchange for regular texts, role play - and often tease rather than full explicit
