I recently got some Ballet Boots and I absolutely love that way they look, however I am only really able to wear them for an hour or so before my big toes start to hurt.

Personally, what's the longest duration are you able to wear your Ballet Boots for around the house? How long has it taken you to get to where you are now?

Are there any recommendations for training with them or is it just consistency?

Thanks x
Sounds like you're more advanced walking than us. There's a couple on FL that actually cut the heel about a half inch and made them infinitely more walkable and stand-able
There are different level of pointe shoes you may want to do some research into what level you're most comfy with. Takes years to properly train feet legs butts and backs for full pointe. Wearing them for an hour is impressive or you have some training that helps.
I was a ballerina most of my life. We use what toe pads in the pointe shoes to “cushion” the toes in the box of the shoes. If u look at any dance supply place they will sell them. Some are foam some are gel. It will help a little bit. But I promise you it will always hurt to a certain degree . You’re putting all of your body weight on toes even for professional dancers this shit hurt lol. You’re doing great. When I first started en pointe it was usually a 30-45 minute session after a 30 min “warmup” in flats to prepare the legs and feet. Keep practicing !
