Daily and monthly limits should and banned users

Recommended Posts

Im reporting many fake users, then they get banned, but still they are counted in my daily message limits. Maybe site should remove that conversation from message limits?
Sometimes i see that user can be potential fake and still talk to get prove and report, its not fair that i lose my limits by this.

Why don't you set your inbox filters to be more strict?

Im talking about outgoing messages. And there is no fake option in filters

There's a message limit? Is that both send and receive?

Why would you be hitting limits sending messages to people? Unless you are spamming random people

Kinda question to send to support.... as well as on here...  i think you can 'raise a ticket'  (whatever the EFF that means)

If the person replies, there is no limit to the messages you can send between you.  The OP is talking about icebreaker messages.  As a basic member, you can send 100 each month.

Ooof. Who needs to send more than a hundred messages a month? Nobody should needs to send that many messages

As the OP explained, he is smoking out people he suspects to be fake/scam profiles.  If that's found to be true after they are reported the the user is banned.  The OP is saying that those messages are still counted against their allocation and making the point that if those users are banned, those messages shouldn't count towards their icebreakers.

The OP should just report them and not waste any efforts messaging them. It seems really weird

Often, it's only through messaging that their ways are exposed.  There would be nothing to report at the start, only a suspicion.  I think it's great that the OP is so public-spirited.

Wrong. I'm always hitting the 100 monthly limit because 90% or more of my messages get ignored and not answered. It's so annoying and frustrating.

Maybe you need to try a different approach. Most people ignore cold messages. Even more so if your first message is a list of demands or clearly not being into similar things (not saying you do that, but that's what I get the most in my inbox)

The bigger issue here is the large. number of fake accounts and the failure of the admins to find ways to reduce them.
Just purchase the app. It has been worth every penny for me. It’s the only app I use for dating. Sometimes it takes time to find someone. You have to have patience and be persistent in your efforts. Don’t settle just to get laid. Finding a quality people on here is totally possible. I wish you luck on your journey.

There's not even 100 people within 100 miles of me... how tf? Are you just messaging every account worldwide that you come across? Damn, I haven't even sent out 100 messages in total, probably not even 50, in the over probably more than a year I have been here (I have no idea how long).
.
If you suspect they're fake, just don't bother. If they contact you, report. Or report without messaging.

Sorry, but there is no reason to send 100 icebreakers per month

no reason at all

if you're sending that many with so little prevetting it's no wonder you only get fakes reply.

* apparently I have been here for 4 years and only sent a total of 75 messages. Not sure if that total is all messages or just ice-breakers.
.
Regardless, if you suspect an account is fake and they don't have anything obvious on their profile, don't waste your message. They'll message someone something against the rules or try to scam someone and that someone will report them.

Ah thank you for explaining, that makes more sense now

If you are really falling for the golden girl images, just remember something.
If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

They are hoping you are stupid enough to fall for their scam .

I guess the obvious question is; Are you?
