"Let's go for a walk."

"Sure" was all I said.
It was innocent enough, I could contain myself for a few miles. I still wasn't sure if you and I were on the same page and a couple of hours walking across a bridge would give us plenty of time to talk.

Barely 10 minutes in and I felt the back of your hand brush against mine, followed by a touch on the shoulder and lingering moments of of you getting the hair out of face while it was blowing around. At the halfway point we found ourselves tucked away and hidden from traffic, I'd spent the last hour holding it all in and had reached my limit. As you made the turn ahead of me I slid my arm into the small of your back and pulled you into me, I didn't find any of the words I wanted to use to express what I felt. But my lips did find yours, your hand found its way up the back of my shirt, I found myself pushing you against the cool cement wall, I found you reaching behind you, as I found my thumbs in your waistband sliding down your leggings.....

As we both panted and dripped sweat down our faces as we adjusted our half discarded clothing, you reminded me that we still had 3 more miles....
