What are your favorite foot scenes in a film or tv program?

Recommended Posts

My fellow foot fans, I'm sure I'm not alone in paying extra special attention to TV programs, or films where there is a foot scene, so made me think, what is your all time favorite foot scene from tv or screen?

I'm guessing Tarantino films might feature quite highly here! And...I'm going to get right in there and say the foot scene in Jackie Brown, Bridget Fonda's beautiful feet, complete with toerings, I mean, that's just gold isnt it!

The Red 2 sniper scene is so good specifically how it was quite random lol but it’s so casual
Has to be Selma Hayek in dusk till dawn. Everything about the scene is mesmerising, the soundtrack, the dance, Selma, all lead up to one moment every foot guy would die for with Selmas toes being willingly sucked in front of a packed bar.
The scene with Katie Holmes in Dear Dictator has its draw, but the portral of the dentist really detracts a lot in my opinion.

The house of lies scene is also worth a shout, but could have been so much better with just a few very minor tweaks. Eg, Kristen could have displayed a brief moment of actual pleasure from having her feet worshipped, or a subtle description of the taste/smell could have been timely placed.
When Eddie Murphy pulled the cover back to see Robin Givens feet in the movie Boomerang 😘🥰

Weekend at Bernie's when Bernie is sitting at the table with the mob boss and his wife kept tickling his balls with her sexy feet under the table

Just before Mia and Vincent head out for food and end up winning the dance competition in Pulp Fiction, Mia walks through the house barefoot. Just as she announces, “let’s go”, she halts and Quentin captures a delicious pose from behind of Uma as she rests her toes on the ground to show her slightly dusty, scrunched right foot sole. It’s brief, but a very powerful shot.

Probably an unpopular opinion in this particular forum, but apart from dusk til dawn, I think Tarantino films are over rated when it comes to foot scenes. Because he is so open and well known for his foot fetish (which I think is both brave and fantastic), I think his scenes often fall short of expectation and what is possible.
Scenes in films such as Dear Dictator or American Pie , while nice to see when taken out of context, cast such a negative view of us with a foot fetish. Taratino has long been in a position where he could produce similar scenes that shed a more positive light on us, but instead sticks to fleeting glances with little to no substance.

Tarantino’s style of filmmaking, is that he injects many things from his own life. His own experiences. His own quirky ways. His own fetishes. And in the case of his fetish, the inclusion of feet scenes are not to have the world see foot fetishists any way, or cast in any light. They are for his own benefit and pleasure almost entirely. Take the scene with Salma; that was a complete flex of his own power and authority on the set to do that. And his other more subtle inclusions too, are for his own pleasure ultimately.
There is foot porn for those who want to watch an extended scene to jack off to. This is cinema. Storytelling. And aside from the Dusk Till Dawn scene, which was a one-off and actually served the story to show off Santanico’s hypnotic power over the Gecko brothers, particularly Richie, the times when Quentin includes a reference to feet, and his fetish, the instances will be pretty fleeting.
But, while they’re fleeting, they’re always suggestive and powerful. The scene I mentioned in particular shows so much.
It shows the comfort and sensuality that Mia feels from going barefoot. Something women will relate to also. And the way she stops to create that pose, and show off how her dusty soles scrunch and arch… it’s all very deliberate. Fleeting, yes. Over in a second, yes. If you want to jack off to it, you’ll have to pause it, yes. But it’s class filmmaking, and it’s not for the benefit of seeing foot fetishists in a certain light. It’s to make the scene cool and sexy, and satisfy his own desire at the same time. And he does that very suavely in that scene.

I agree, the scene with Selma is THE ULTIMATE FLEX and completely self indulgent. I tip my hat with complete and utter respect to him. Just think of how many people's fantasy he not only lived in that moment, but also the new ones he created.

Your response is brilliant and disagree with nothing you said. But, with regards to the title of this thread, I believe we are talking about mainstream and not porn. Hence why I still think he is over rated when compared in the "vanilla" aspect of cinema.
