Flowers=herbs (one of mine loves a good steak so I’ll often get him small herb plants to cook with plus while they’re growing he’s so proud of himself) if it’s just about the gesture it’s okay to just ask a few questions to find something he enjoys. For one of my others they’re a bit more femme so flowers are perfectly acceptable that may be the case for yours as well. I think most people are just happy with some clear effort.

jo**** Posted March 28 Personally I've always felt awkward getting gifts. I'm also a person who prefers acts of service or physical contact instead of gifts. Keep in mind the person's love language. I Personally appreciate when someone is willing to go out of their way to do something for me without me asking or being prompted to do. It could be anything from sitting behind me and rubbing my back while I'm doing something i enjoy to taking care of a small task for me before I get to it.

(He calls me every night on the way home from work and usually goes through drive thru). So when he is having a bad day I can Door Dash him one of his favorite foods.
