I think so yes, I'm a rocker amongst other things, and there was a point in my life where black was the only colour I would wear 😊

It does, in my case it reflects even my mood.

I only wear certain type of shoes and ppl perceive that as an extension of my personality... Laid back with a not nice dark side if angry.

Depends on whether we accept what people are trying to project about themselves. Someone might be trying dress ‘power dress’ to make up for something they lack. Only they will know apart from people who know them well. Maybe some of them don’t know either.

I slightly disagree, I don't think is conformist mundane ppl (at least not all of them). Some ppl (and I have in mind Mark Zuckerberg and more cases of non famous ppl) just dress the same every day because is quick and convenient and they have way more important stuff to think about. They just can't be bothered to waste time every single morning in front of the mirror.

All that matters is that you're happy with what you wear, it's a slippery slope wearing something to please others, slight personality changes can develope and before you know it you lose touch with what makes you you, and then years down the line it seems to be an impossible task remembering who you are as a person, just be happy with who you are and your own tastes, whether in a kink sense or in everyday life, just be happy

If you are making this statement “clothes reflect personality” then you are admitting you are prejudice based on clothing. This is partly why I am a nudist. Without clothes you have no idea if I am homeless or a millionaire. Thus you are ***d to either ignore me completely (which I’m my view is your loss) or ***d learn my personality without the stereotypes of clothing.

I feel like my clothes depict how I am feeling. Sometimes I like to wear clothes that are more risqué than others because I am feeling sassy, other days I go toward clothes that are more casual and fashionable.

Clothes do as in the example above of a millionaire looking like a bum. It is how you choose to/ or not present yourself to others. After all our base instinct is to base things on appearance. Luckily we can choose to go beyond that to find the inner person.

Then I could argue that all the power is in the clothing itself and none of it is in you. Meaning, if someone else puts on the same clothing that you say gives you power....then that person has the power and you are nothing. It means all of your trans is refused to aesthetic alone since you are powerless without the visual of clothing. No, there’s more to humans than their appearance.

It’s proven that the first thing a person looks at in another person is their health status. There are visual cues to that yes, but it has nothing to do with ‘personal style’. Style still also ***s notions and prejudices that permeate culture. Even if I put on an expensive suit, I could have stolen it.

Yes yes. I want those of us that do things a little different to be able to be different. Like my face. I can’t keep it on in public. Instead I have to wear the mask I was born with. We choose who we are. We didn’t ask to be born. But I can’t wear my face and carry chains. Have to watch how I growl. Didn’t ask to growl. But mmmm

Yes. I’ve always had a thing for black and black shiny clothes are an instant turn on. Whatever makes you feel good and let’s your personality shine (no pun intended)
