For short term or long term?

I have a small question up for discussion and its nothing bad or anything but- ive come onto this app expecting to talk to someone and actually start somthing long term without issue, but most of the people that keep popping up are mainly short term/ or just not in my interest bracket... and its 80% of my feed.


Is this app for more of a short term talking to someone app or has anyone actually had a decently long relationship? ( the people might not be able to answer cause they are gone off this app, BUT IM ASKING ANYWAYS!!)

also whats with all the people in my feed not having any bios or anything... i just wanna talk to someone who actually has everything out to read and understand and has the whole profile/ point of the app!

Unfortunately so, I've come across too many fake doms or people only texting me for some minutes and then requesting to see my private photos, dry texts and such

I feel like the point of this app has gone over quite a few people’s heads. I myself would like a proper D/s relationship and have been struggling a bit🥲

Well I could give some advice on how to weed off fake doms, so far I've found an amazing Dom who asks me questions without making about sexual gratification

It’s not so much that I struggle to weed out the real from the fake. I am extremely thorough in my vetting😅 I struggle because of how few real Dom’s there are on here that want/have time for a relationship.

There are Doms like that out there, it just takes time to find them in all honesty,

From my perspective, it leans more toward short-term experiences. Finding something long-term is hard enough without adding algorithms, timing, chemistry, and whatever unspoken thirst tax exists here.

The bigger mystery to me is the amount of blank profiles. This app practically begs people to write about themselves, and somehow half the profiles are:

Photo.

Existence.

End of profile.

Meanwhile my awkward ass is trying to start conversations with:

“Hey there… do you, um… walk?”

As a new female member, you sure get hundreds of messages. Use your filter for age, location and length of messages, so you can get rid of a lot of idiots😉

Inchantriss, people are on here for various reasons. Some for NSA hookups, some, like you for LTR. And then there are the scammers, the yahoo boys. Used to be Nigerian princes now into love and relationship scams. Typically with only one (1) photo and a short bio. May or May not have visited your profile. They'll jump right into wanting to know everything about you, but give little info about themselves. Usually after a very short chat, they want to continue on a different app; WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram, etc. Don't know how many "dommes" I have chatted with who jump right into giving me orders and commands without ever laying out any ground rules. Not to mention the inevitable request for "tribute" or a "registration fee" for my sub contract, in the form of a gift card. One wanted $100 to help her replace her broken-screen phone. When I wised up and refused, "she" called me all sorts of names and threatened to expose me! THAT'S just my experience

But don't be dismayed. YMMV. Just keep plugging away, keep your wits about you, keep your bullshit detector on at all times. A lot of the toads you kiss may well be just that, toads! But you could get lucky
