The Alleyway Ruin

Recommended Posts

The bass hits heavy, vibrating the floor,
Eyes lock across the room, starting a war.

She’s sipping on something that’s staining her red,
While I read the filthy thoughts trapped in her head.

I move through the bodies, the sweat, and the heat,
Until our shadows collide on the edge of the beat.

No introductions, no playing it nice,
Just a grip on her hip and a look like a vice.

"Out," is the only damn word that she says,
Pulling me into a neon-lit daze.

Out the back exit, the alley is blind,
Leaving the music and manners behind.

I back her right up to the shivering brick,
The air growing heavy, the tension is thick.

My hands moving frantic, tearing at lace,
Stealing the breath right out of her face.

She tangles her fingers tight into my hair,
We’re drowning right there in the midnight air.

Skin against skin in the shadow and smoke,
Testing the boundary until it is broke.

I’m dragging my teeth down the line of her neck,
Turning this girl to a beautiful wreck.

The rhythm is pounding, ruthless and deep,
A devastating promise we’re dying to keep.

Her knees start to buckle, she whispers my name,
Completely consumed by the heat of the game.

A shivering gasp, a scratching of nails,
Where every polite conversation just fails.

Breath coming jagged, the damage is done,
Two burning bodies collapsing as one.

She catches her breath with a smirk on her lip,
Adjusting her dress with the sway of her hip.

Back to the music, back to the light,
A filthy, unspoken completely owned night.
