So I’ve been giving away these things and I’m wondering am I not supposed to do that

I still can't find clue #6 and I've looked practically everywhere, can someone please point me in the right direction so I can find it

You can definitely share icons that you find, its a great way to meet others and also share the love around so they can join in the game too.  If you do share your icons, your points are gifted away too but you can get them back, you just need to go back where you first found the icon and it will be there waiting for you to recollect.  Recollect the icon and your points will come back to you too. Keeping a list of where you first found them, helps with relocating them again.
