The purpose of this thread is to discuss what people think of "fictional porn" and "future of porn" ie In a word were they have able to make a sybthetic material that feels like human skin (which i have read they claim to have) including being able to heat it to body temp Humanoid robotics is now a real thing And GPT4 now is showing sparks of generalised ai Would you consider a synth instead of a human partner if it sounded, looked, spoke, and felt the same as a human, but instead of eating out at an italian she or he just plugs them selves into the wall

ge**** Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 I personally wouldn't - but it's fairly well known that porn was one of the greatest drivers behind a lot of the developments we take for granted on the Internet now - things like advancement of streaming services, webcams and more were largely driven by the porn industry, so it should really come as no surprise that that continues even now.

I would also predict that robots would not do the distopian terminator or ex machina approach but rather we would be the ones to initate war with them in a simular way to how societies around the world behave over migration and job losses and lack of resources (housing, etc) We would most likely fight over lack of work available, and lack of resources (electric consumption on the grid, environmental health issues, battery waste, and over population) Thats what i think could happen if devices like ameca and gpt4 evolve

However neither is it free to have a partner (wife or gf) as we pay for it without realisation because we dont like to think of us being used or oaying for ones attention, but the reality is when one stops providing in a relationship it more often than not breaksdown So it could be a trade off i think in which one may be less stressful Which one is less stressful well thats to be determined if this tech evolves If your not up to speed its worth youtubing 'ameca robot' and 'chatGPT conversations' or 'gpt4 conversations' to be familiar with how advanced computer science is evolving

This will be a VR type reality visual effect that’s connected to remote sex toys for male and females. People will become addicted, and people will start ignoring physical social interactions with other people. We’re all doomed
ey**** Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 in terms of porn there are both possibilities and limitations So for example - animated AI is totally possible; some folk like animated porn, a lot of people don't and AI is unlikely to change that changing someone's face/appearances as any form of tweak where it is still clearly them would be possible but a lot comes down to the complexity of the scene - while AI is of course advancing taking a still photo of someone and applying it to a high action scene is unlikely to be seamless. Applying someone else's face would come under deepfake rules and of course there wouldn't be a matching consent form or ID on file : and even some of the dubious sites, this still has costs to cover -- in terms of stuff at home, when I say "not free" I actually mean "very expensive". Of course all relationships carry a cost (something I've also pointed out many times when people talk about sex workers etc) but, well, we're probably talking similar/greater costs than "see a sex worker"

ey**** Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 So for all porn sites any performer needs a model release form and a copy of ID obviously not something possible with someone AI generated. there are obviously some things which are permissible - like if something is animated providing the character is clearly not designed to appear under 18 and doesn't have a likeness to someone else. One thing that is a little bit more possible is someone using a photo of themselves when they were younger, or had specific make up on, etc. in order to apply to their own content
