I agree it's not totally safe but, I get a thrill from my lady actually leaving the house. After she has finished the bonds and I have no chance of escape, she tells me how long I will be *** and laughs while challenging me to get out, if I don't want to be there (I never can). I wasn’t tied up, I was catatonic, but bondage has the same results. It’s edge play. Your top is responsible for you, and probably would not laugh at this outcome. If I were topping this, you’d have the illusion of being abandoned but I’d have you monitored up the wazoo and be able to intervene in minutes or better. I get that knowing all of that ruins the mindfuck, but with me that’s exactly what it would be: a mindfuck. If you try this, I wish you and your partner the best possible outcome.

Anything could happen to risk your safety, and happen in minutes not hours - some of it known, some of it unknown, and unless someone is monitoring and on hand to react within seconds could ultimately lead to loss of life as a worst case - yes that may seem over dramatic but it's a very real possibility - what would happen if you had a heart attack for example? Or some other unseen and unknown medical emergency? What if during that time rope slipped and cut off a nerve, or restricted your breathing? . And that's before you even consider the possible implications for the person who placed you in that position regardless of whether you consented or not. . Like I said, I get the thrill, but for me the risks would far outweigh the thrill.

I can’t fathom how in reality actually being tied to a bed for even one hour you won’t realize that you’re really unable to change position, there’s nothing to do, you’re bored and now your nose itches. Or your balls. And there’s nothing you can do about it. I also don’t see how that is in any way gratifying to any woman. She left. She is off doing something that is actually interesting. Or maybe lining up another mark like you. I can’t see a woman who gives a shit about you participating in it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not kink shaming you. You asked so I’m telling you the truth. The person can be there monitoring the situation the entire time, but… you don’t know that, at least not for sure. The mind is an amazing playground. Now a caring Dom would never want something to go wrong for their sub, and even an uncaring one wouldn’t want to deal with the aftermath of something going wrong, but it’s amazing what can be done with a planted seed.
