I made space in my world,
I made space in my heart,
I made space in my life,
You kept me in the dark. 

You made me want to be open,
You gave me space to feel safe,
You gave me space in your head,
At least that’s what you said.

I had space to be silent,
I had space to feel free,
I had space in your heart,
You gave that to me.

You gave me space to speak,
You listened to me,
You reassured me that you heard me,
You helped soothe me.

But the space that I made,
It wasn’t enough.
I wanted you to fill it,
Instead you were rough.

You took the space I gave you,
Once so pretty and so pure.
You turned that space to ashes,
You poured more into her.

Maybe you are finally the one
Who teaches me enough’s enough. 
Maybe through you I find my strength
And become what I ought to become.

You didn’t need or want my space,
You didn’t really care.
Another notch or your bed post,
Or maybe just a dare.

No longer my Sir,
No space to be my Daddy,
I can’t call you my Master,
Your name doesn’t matter.

The space that I made, 
Has vanished and gone,
Filled with your deceit,
Your lies and your scorn.

I write this as a reminder,
And an ode to the others.
Your space doesn’t exist,

It contains the word "p a i n", and the site's automatic censorship isn't smart enough to recognise that you've typed it as part of a longer word.

 

Similarly if you type (for another example amongst many) "s c a t t e r g u n" the site will also now censor the first four letters of that word 🤦‍♂️

 

Edit: for further context, nothing on the site used to be subject to automated censorship. It's an unfortunate price we all now pay for having an app.

Shush, I was teasing. I’ve danced this dance many times. I’ve always known I’m not the girl who gets the guy. I am however still speaking to the girl that the guy is trying to fight to get back 😂😢
