How does Autumn make you feel?

I haven’t written a new poem in at least a week, 

But I had the nicest ache as the trees called out to me this morning and I wanted to try and express it.

Not sure I did a very good job.

 

Better for Seeing 

 

 

A stream of consciousness evaporated into the dizzy heights of my lapis lazuli

As the autumn winds fingered their way through the last golden leaves 

It whispered a rustling across my mouth

I tasted glory and knew I was me

 

This is Now

And 

This is Now

Like a dead poet told us

With the bray of her heart 

I am here 

With the Autumn

Okay

And apart 

 

The lanes were carpeted with golden crunch and mud

Like a sensory delight to lead me to knowing 

I sunk and I lingered and rose my eyes to the blue 

I swear that I flew right into the showing 

 

That was then 

And 

This is Now

Like the breath of a poet

Exhaling her being 

I’m still here 

With the Autumn

And better 

For seeing

You have posted in exactly the right place but it wouldn't matter if you had not. It doesn't have to be kink related either, a common misconception, it can be anything you wish.
