I can say that when it comes to level of experience, I am still just a novice with a decent knowledge base. It has been harder to find a Dom. Many I have spoken to over the years are more looking for a wild one night stand or a naked servant to show off to friends. I guess I am asking what the best way is to find someone and what really should one expect with first meet-ups after boundary discussions has occurred?

The main thing for a novice is to be patient, learn through conversations, and practice good vetting techniques to avoid predatory behaviors and find something safe that works with them.

Patience is key, but as you've noticed, it is a dynamic way of life. And it is more than sex. It is a intimate relationship of trust. And not everyone has that level of commitment or stability to provide that hence, the one night stands. And the fragile egos that want to be in charge and dominate when in all reality, they lack the confidence to do such inrl (ie life not the bedroom)the most important thing is that you've identified the fact that you need it. And that you recognize what is and what is not. That is the key concept is that most people will fail as to them BDSM or having a Dom sub relationship which there are several layers of what that looks like, and the sense of dynamics to them is surface level only in the bedroom or overall aggressivenes or to RP (make belive) when in reality its a delicate dance with one taking it as far as needed and appropriate, and the other fully surrendering with zeal. In synchrony, it's a beautiful thing when genuine and sincere by fully committed partners

The important thing to remember is that, even though you’re a submissive and looking to be dominated, that still doesn’t mean you should be pressured into anything you don’t truly want. You still deserve to choose who and what you want. A lot of Doms just think that because”they are in charge” what they say goes, no question. The fact is, it takes time to reach that level.
