Difference between a Disciplinarian and Brat Tamer

Had a discussion lately in my IRL community about what the difference between this is.

Is bratting coming from an emotional or naturally unreasonable place that requires a different type of attention? Thoughts welcome :)

I can't see a Brat Tamer, in that role, having a dynamic with anyone other than brats

where is a disciplinarian could have a dynamic or play with anyone including brats

A disciplinarians prime punishment, or boundaries, would likely lie in corrective discipline - caning, bath brush, slipper, tawse, lines, corner time, etc

a brat tamer might include those, but wouldn't be limited to them.

"No stickers / playstation / ice cream" not really a punishment in discipline - but certainly a punishment for some brats

I think I resonate with this. A Disciplinarian might create a frame upfront for structuring behaviour. A Brat Tamer is reactive. Agree also with the second comment that Brats need a specific type of person who is willing to deal with constant, possibly exhausting challenge.
