Using bondage for relaxation

Any body uses bondage for relaxation? I do, I love to de-stress and be tied up for a while. Am I the only one out here who feels the same way? Sometimes I feel like an island of one...hate that feeling. Lol

I used to have a neighbor that would come to my house after her husband left for work and she dropped her daughter at school. I would tie her to my bed and then cocoon her in nautical rope so that she couldn’t move. I would then go get my workday started and let her lay for at least an hour in silence. She said it was the most relaxed she had ever been

Same but opposite, I tie people up to relax. I can leave the work week behind and focus on the knots and the comfort of the tied individual

Being tied and not touched is a big thing. You're not alone. I have never experienced being tied myself but the few subs I have tied preferred it to more physical interaction ties. From what I understood about their mindset it was comfort from not being able to do anything but also having someone watching over them.

This is common, especially with high-power people... People who regularly must be in control, give directions, make decisions, often like the opposite in the bedroom...

I had a Master once that used to like to tie me up as punishment. He would sit me in a dark closet on a kitchen chair bound to the chair with my hands tied above my head to the clothes pole. Every single time he would close the door I would end up falling asleep. It totally relaxed me. Not the outcome he hoped for.

Depends how I'm tied. If it takes the weight off my body and makes it easier for me to be in a certain position, it can be so relaxing. I have hypermobile joints, so I have to tense my muscles all the time to just stay upright. It's like being in predicament bondage 24/7 with no relief; it's just exhausting. So when I'm tied up by someone who really knows how, or get to lie in a sex swing? It's bliss. It does wonders for your mind when your body doesn't have to tense itself all the time (nothing psychological behind it for me; if your joints are wobbly, you have to do it just so you won't fall over). You surrender more. I also love being really tightly packaged up with corsets and pressure garments and Comprilan bandages (the thick, brown stretchy ones you get when spraining your ankle) for the same reason. Takes the weight off my body marvellously and I can just let the dom do his thing.😊
