It takes time to find the right people. In the meantime, there is a ton of educational content available online. Educating yourself is much safer than relying on someone else to do it.

I totally feel where this is coming from, although I've tried to avoid the hook up culture. I am guilty of occasionally desiring immediate gratification. Even during those moments I prefer meeting during the day light. Something about late night makes meeting a random stranger, unnerving to me and a bit frightening.
