Clicker training

Was talking with one of my friends about clicker training and just made me curious. As anyone had experience with this? How do Doms usually apply this to everyday life? I tried googling and searching, but it would just focus on psychology and background, and not really give experiences.

Clicker training is a task-reward process, usually used in dogs. Like a Pavlovian system. When a dog performs a task correctly, you click and reward, that way the dog eventually hears the click and feels rewarded. That's pretty much it

Iv used clicker training with a pet/slave. Its pretty great for training done in silence. Training in silence is good because ur sub will get really good at remembering hand gestures and signals while in public or at parties and immediately know what to do.

I've used training dogs like the real kind, too. And it works, so I guess it could be transferred to humans

This doesn't really apply to everyday life unless you have a consenting 24/7 dynamic with someone. As cool as that may sound its rare and a lot of work..

I will say that clicker training is fun, but it does take time. You're needing to create associations to clicker. It is well documented that positive rein***ment works best so including a click with some sort of other reward system works.

It would be the same as training a dog.
And it's more of a positive training than a punitive one. You use the clicker as a way to get the sub's attention if they are doing something wrong or to give an order. And immediately after clicking, the submissive receives a reward, whether sexual or emotional.
I tried to explain it in my own way, so it might not be entirely correct.
And sorry for the terrible grammar, english isn't my first language.

sub does what you want, you mark (click) and reward. pair it with a command. rinse and repeat. it's not to gain attention or anything. the sound becomes tied to the reward and eventually, the brain connects the sound to positive experiences.

example: you want your pup to beg/sit pretty. you say the command, if they do it, mark and reward. if not, no click, no reward. the second they get it right, reward. (this is also one way to train actual dogs)

It’s nothing more than Pavlovian conditioning. I’ve had quite some success with it. Action - click - reward - click. Repeatedly. Eventually the click becomes the reward in itself.
