I want to go to a bdsm club but im anxious about it

So this question is for the men and women who go to bdsm clubs, whats it like for you now compared to your first visit?

Here’s my 2¢ - for me, not my scene exactly. It’s about the person I’m with and what they are into. So she’s always wanted to flog somebody? Sweet. Look at that smile. She’s having fun. Most of the time it men nodding and smiling at each other knowing they’ve made their woman happy. Sometimes, you’ll stumble upon a couple who has a cuckqueen who brings cakes for her daddy’s those are entertaining enough, but rare. Single men are a dime a dozen at any event - A dom is no dom without a sub, and vise-versa

You should really go. It would be very, very, unusual for anyone to pressure you into anything. Personally I feel going to a BDSM Club on your own is far easier, than going to a bar alone. Probably far safer, to go to a BDSM club, then a bar, by yourself too. Because in the BDSM club, you have the culture of getting consent. Which is very much lacking in your average bar.

And it would be no big deal, for you to just watch. If anyone came up to you, you could simply say, that it is your first time, and you just want to watch and see. And you will probably be left alone, or invited to go on a tour.

Sincerely, you have nothing to be anxious about.

I guess to compare a simple "then and now" - I know more people now, as having been a few times I made a lot of friends over the time

the local event club is, for me, like going home. It's familiar, relaxing, always fun, and those are my people. Whether I play or not, though it's rare that I won't, I enjoy the energy, and it always feeds me.

This is where people get to take off the masks and be their authentic selves, the person they hide from the rest of the world, or are uncomfortable truly leaning into. Have I seen some unusual things? yep. But then, we are unusual ourselves, are we not? Normal is a setting on a dryer!

I also have the opportunity to learn from watching the scenes of others. I may be fairly good at my craft, but watching the imagination of others inspires me most every time I get to watch people scene. And I love that.

I’ve been to two places. I was nervous the first time but I had great friends with me to help guide me. The second time at a different place I let loose a lot more and had the time of my life. One thing in common at both places, besides the obvious, was how chill and welcoming everyone was. No judgement. Just have fun, don’t be shy. Once you are used to the environment you can begin to experience the scenes.
