What’s Behind the Profile?

[Deleted Member]

What’s something people assume about you from your FET profile that’s completely wrong?

[Ur****]

That I am deeply experienced

[Deleted Member]

That I’m going to sleep with anyone who asks.

[Di****]

Being called baby girl or pet names right off the bat are okay.

[Deleted Member]

A woman as beautiful as yourself must get those often

[bo****]

That I fuck straight men, apparently

[sardonicus87]

Probably literally everything. Way too much to explain, it's why I don't talk about what my hobbies are (like philosophy, math, coding) because then they think I'm "boring" and "have no sense of humor", or how I ride motorcycles because then they think I like AC/DC or am some kind of "toxic masculinity real baiker brötherrrrrr".

It's like you can't say anything because it'll be used as an excuse to write you off without even trying, and then saying nothing they won't be interested because they don't know anything about you. It doesn't matter what you say, it's always taken the wrong way, almost on purpose. It's like they go in already determined to not find anything and make it a self-fulfilling prophecy where they can say "see, I knew it"... like no, you didn't even try.

[Dan941]

They see a redneck from south west Florida and automatically assume that they know my political opinion... I may be a dumb ole country boy,but I know a two bit con artist when I see one....

People don’t read mostly) the see what they want to see

Unfortunately I hear that *A LOT* – on all platforms i use. And not only from FemDoms, it also happens on my profile. It’s super annoying but can also be a good filter (🤫🫢)

[lu****]

That my photos are AI , I just had a professional shoot ...

[Deleted Member]

You mean y’all get messages from ppl who’ve actually read your profile? 😩🤦🏼‍♀️

[Da****]

That if I am on this site I want to fuck you without knowing you.

That if we share a kink that's all the connection we need to hook up

And apparently some men forget there is a real person on the other side of the screen in general. So many come with lines about how you're going to fuck me or how I am yours. Like, do you talk like that to someone face to face from go? It really cheapens things for me. If I am going to choose you, it's because you create a safe space in my life (even while spanking me). Don't ask me to address you with respect if you have done nothing to earn it.

[ve****]

That I work out😂 (I do not just a very demanding job)

[SteveStark]

That gay men and trans think I’m just like them and want to fuck and be fucked by then, I just don’t know it yet.

[Sweetestsadist]

That I want mon3y, or a "tribute". Also, that I'm going to fuck them.

[An****]

That I just want hook ups with strangers. Is it too much to ask that we build up a friendship first and get to know each other a bit? I mean how can you be FWB without the friend part?

[Fu****]

That i will suck every dick that asks for it

[sardonicus87]

Honestly, the only time I've ever gotten messages from not scammers, is couples who clearly did not read my profile.

While I think a lot of people don't actually read profiles, I'm fairly confident a higher percentage of women read profiles than men.

Personally, I always read profiles. I'm not into wasting effort trying to craft a message that "stands out" for someone I'd never be interested in, or someone that explicitly says she's not looking for anything I am or explicitly says she's not into my kinks. Even then, how are you supposed to craft a personal/good message without reading a profile?

Of course, the rare occasion someone actually has filled out their profile and I can tell there's a chance we could hit it off (beyond stupidly rare) and I take all that effort and actually try... you know, doing the very thing so many complain that nobody does and they say they wish people would do, and it's wasted effort every time anyway. Inbox dry af. I'm convinced 99.9% of people don't even want to do anything more than just window shopping. Hell, probably 75% of them quit using sites anyway after about 48 hours, look once and leave.

[Pa****]

Nobody ever seems to actually read the bio, so they completely miss where I put that I'm Asexual and am not here to get fucked. It genuinely ***es me off.

[Da****]

That I’m desperate or that i’ll fuck anyone who asks even though my profile says I’m demisexual and the fun one that i’ll drop everything for them when my profile says i don’t do last minute anything because i have kids

[Le****]

People read trans and immediately assume the gender I was assigned at birth. Trans is a very big umbrella term, my friend. I am not a chick with a dick, nor am I cute little twink femboy with a cunt. Most of the “men” that message me would not be interested in me if they knew more than just surface level information that I have in my bio.

[Sa****]

Everyone seems to think I have a penis between my legs
