Hi ya fellow kinkster

I was wondering how ***ful is wax play. Yes I know not to ues normal candles. But ues the 1s for wax play.

Also does it mark the skin an if so how long till it your skin goes back to normal.

I like the idea of wax play. But due to medical problems Im on a few hospital waiting lists for different operations

If there's a kinkster out there willing to share about wax play Id be extremely greatful.

Ty for taking time out of your day to read my message.

Charms ❤️☺️🤗

Low temp candles tend to leave a little red mark kind of like hot water just dont hold the canle to close to the skin

If you hold it far away from the body so the wax has time to cool it doesn't hurt too bad. It leaves small red marks that are gone after maybe 1h (my skin is very pale) maybe even faster. I would rate it a 2-3 on the *** scale for me personally. But it always dependa on the person and were on the body you use it. If you can get a wax play candle and can try it out yourself or with someone I recommend having a cold wash cloth or something close by so you can cool down the skin in case it gets too much

To caveat on provided info, if the flesh is “prepped” prior to wax play, via spanking, flogging, etc, then the wax is a more intense experience.

Low temp candle…it’s about how far away when the drop drops…have to experiment….i suggest being super horny and wanna cum….start slow

it doesn't mark, it doesn't need to be ***ful

the further the wax drops the longer it has to cool

I adore wax play it is the most relaxing play ever for me, my last D used to treat me with wax play if I had been a good girl (this was all mutually consensual within the dynamic). I have a platonic wax play partner & during our 1st scene I floated off into my calm happy floaty space, I had no clue what he had done design wise but I was not disappointed from the photo's taken.
So the higher the candle is away from the skin the further it has to fall so will be cooler when it lands on your skin.
The removal is ***less & I have found my skin has felt amazing as the soy from the candles has very much agreed with my skin as the remnants can be rubbed in.
I love the UV candles they look amazing under the right lighting but then I also enjoy splash pot wax play which is a little more intense as theres more liquid wax to pour so as the name suggests the wax splashes on rather than drips but I enjoy regular wax play.
I would steer clear of genitals & breasts to begin with & begin with wax play on your mid back area, arms & backs of legs & progress from there.
You may find you have some minor redness but it fades withing 12 hours or so & get a really good moisturiser to apply after your shower when you've played.
As with any play always discuss & agree boundaries, limits, safe words & aftercare before play to ensure your experience is safe & fun for both you & your play partner.
Hope this helps x

**1-2 hours

Waxes made with different things have different melting points. So a safe drop height for one candle, may not be with another.

Wax play can be such an amazing sensory vibe when it’s done right. To answer your big question: when you use actual low-temp wax play candles (usually made of soy or specific paraffin), it’s not ***ful at all! It feels like a quick, intense burst of heat that immediately melts into a cozy, warm sensation.
As for the skin marks, here is the lowdown:
The flush: Your skin will definitely get a little pink or red right after, kind of like how you look when you step out of a super hot shower.
The timeline: For most people, that redness fades completely within a few hours or by the next morning.
Distance is key: Like other comments, just don't hold the candle too close to the skin! Holding it higher up gives the wax a second to cool down in the air before it hits you.
Since you mentioned you're waiting on some surgeries, definitely double-check and research a bit. Some medical stuff or meds can make your skin way more sensitive or prone to bruising, and you definitely want to be fully healed and ready for your operations!
Sending you the absolute best luck with your upcoming surgeries! Stay safe and have fun!

It's really fun when the person receiving the drips is blindfolded.

Using parrafin wax in a warmer first. Then brush on a thin layer. The sensation alone, is fantastic.  It's proactive of the skin, from mis burn marks. Another added bonus for this, is you can use dollar store candles then.  And  having it ***led off is fun too. As many others said, the height of holding the candle, makes the difference.

I love candle play and have played only a couple of times so far and it’s been on my private parts too. My pencil twitches and I like the moulds that you can make from waxing, happy to chat more if I can help

Ty all for your awesome answers. Im into what some call extream kink . I love breath. But its not my kink partners thing.

I just want to try new things I guess.

Iv been to a few kink markets an saw the candles.

I may just add candles to my list of things I have to buy

some of the basic sets are quite cheap.  Give it a go :)

but yes, the height controls the heat, so get your partner to go higher or lower if it's too hot (or, could be warmer!)

oh, and prepare for clean up at the end :)

Always check your medications for skin sensitivity with any type of play. Wax play is lovely and using BDSM low burn wax is a must. There are beautiful UV waxes you can purchase on other sites, as I have, along with a UV lightbulb.
I recommend using a shower curtain to lay down for easy clean up, coconut oil lightly applied so the wax is easier to remove, holding the wax higher up, as it is cooler when dripped onto the skin, and avoiding genitals. You can use a cold butter knife to remove the wax, adding a bit of anticipation, and a blindfold for sensory deprivation. The heat of the wax can leave a blush to the skin if held higher, or more of a redness if held closer to the skin, which dissipates depending on your sensitivity. I would also recommend testing a small area first for sensitivity. Your partner can be as creative as he likes, using your body as his canvas, and you being his work of art. Enjoy your new found interest 💙

Thanks my lady . I was actually thinking of what to cover the bed with.

Shabbat candles are all paraffin and many grocery stores have them. Some emergency candles are 100 percent paraffin. The wax baths for hands or feet usually use all paraffin. If you want warmer/more challenging you could then check online kink merchants, some give a temperature that their wax melts at and can give an idea of how much more challenging they are.

Can't go wrong starting with paraffin wax.

It doesn't mark your skin its so sexy for me

I may or may not of been looking at kink candles on line

Also, I use coconut oil on the skin, the wax removes easily
