Men’s photo posing

Recommended Posts

Many women have amazing posing and clothing sense for taking hotter pics and I wondered what are some of the same that guys can do?

You're into nerdy stuff so you actually should be aware of several fashion choices men do get especially for your size there are also a ton of femme clothing options now that you can make masc you jus gotta take the actual interest in fashion

To start, the correct lighting and angle can do wonders!!! Photos can serve very different purposes regarding what information you’re giving or what you’re communicating: general information about your general physical appearance (build, size, age, etc.), a means to express various facets of your personality, your interests, a mood you want to project out into the world, etc. It can be helpful to choose what the aim of a given photo is and then go from there. Looking at portrait photography can also be helpful. The pose, clothing, and props should support what you’re trying to communicate.

Adding to my last comment if you'd like someone to help you personally feel free to hit my DMs I don't mind giving free advice like that

Additional to what some of the comments have suggested aesthetically and visually I would also add that you should Make sure you have good lighting and a suitable background (for example: if it’s in your bathroom — make sure the toilets out of shot |  make sure it’s not messy with random clothes or rubbish in shot behind or around you).

i definitely agree that it’s good to do them outside as it’s usually more scenic. Maybe add a bit of cheekiness in the pose too ;-)

These are only my thoughts—nothing is right or wrong—everything’s relative and what someone loves someone else might hate, it’s all in the eye of the beholder!!

Well, I know in another site that I’ve got a bunch of pictures up and I think the worst picture probably ever taken of me gets the most likes on there and it’s just me with my pool in the background with a half ass smile it’s a horrible picture, but it gets the most likes. I’m just wearing a tank top. It’s just a selfie, but I’ve been wondering about some of these things too, cause I have a photographer that’s gonna be coming and doing some shoots here soon.

Men really shouldn’t be surprised that they don’t get any messages when they either don’t have a profile picture at all or use one where they’re standing in front of a dirty mirror, wearing nothing but underwear, with the outline of their dick visible and chaos in the background. It’s just awful. There’s a lot of room for improvement.

I feel attacked 😳😂😂😂 lol

Have pics that accurately show who you are. No sunglasses, no hat, and JUST YOU in the pic. Use a variety of dress- if every pic is you in shorts and a tshirt you'll get less attention. Use one that's a little dressier, a casual one, and show some of your personality in the pics, doing your job or hobbies, etc. And if it's a shit picture, retake it. You're not limited to a roll of film you have to develop, and there's no excuse for blurry, misaligned pics when you can take a bunch at once and edit.

Aside from that, actually write something. Generally speaking women are less visually focused as men, so what you say will go a long way to selling yourself. USE GOOD GRAMMAR AND SPELLING. Nobody wants to fuck the "i ain't got time for that" guy.

Smile in your photos. So many men look grumpy or down right unapproachable. No one wants to start a conversation with someone that looks mad. Also rethink your name. Show that you have a personality beyond your penis.

I think most of this is probably just bull crap because I’ve seen guys named all kinds of porn names and they get tons of attention I think it’s honestly just whether you’re ugly or not. I don’t get approached at all and I know I’m ugly. I’m not not approachable and my name doesn’t have anything to do with my pecker

You are definitely not ugly

that’s very subjective and thank you, but I would consider you probably in the minority

Guess I'm just sol forver then. My fake smile is way, WAY worse than my "grumpy" neutral face and I have literally NO friends so nobody to take candid shots, I'm just bad as selfies, of the pics I have, each of those took several attempts and that's the best I could do.

I also can't showcase my personality or hobbies in photos either. How do you showcase introspective, philosophical thinker, or being into philosophy and logic puzzles and psychology without it coming off as "pretentious"? I have a sense of humor, but I'm not a clown, how do I show that in pics? I'm also laid back and chill, how do I show that without coming off as "boring"?

Iv tried every kind of pose ..I got over 100 pic and I pob only have 5-7 dick pics … iv got some in my work suits some black and white some of my dungeon some of collars cages…. Im abit older but consider myself ok looking in good shape i got a large house thats jet black iv had a meanful and purposeful career in healthcare thats been documented in the media and im still abit confused about the lack of interest … only thing i can come up with is that i live in a isolated
Area and im not on here a lot liking everyone’s posts and pics ?
But most of that had nothing to do with what u where asking but check out my pics I think there is a nice variety

As a currently keen occasional photographer, and former occasional boudoir photographer, I feel fairly safe in saying so far I've found nothing that makes me look good.
Even lovely three piece suits only manage to make me look like an ageong nerd in a suit. Despite predominantly wearing jeans and shirts I do like putting a suit on.

This advice can be applied to almost everything in life.

Be consistent. Engage. Show up.

It's like putting an apple 🍎 into a river and wanting someone to jump in to get it. No one is looking for a perfect apple, there are apples floating down the river all the time, and no one is hunting for your 'special apple' when you're hiding IRL.

Apple 🍎 can be any post, picture, or engagement.

At some point you have to realize that it really doesn't matter how attractive the photo, person, or post if you dump them all in the river once and never come check.

I post a lot, a lot of people visit my profile because of that, I'm super hot in Europe 🤣 a bit of a swim though 🤔 good pics matter, but being visible matters so much more.

@kristoph666 - With photos, more is not necessarily better! I looked at the photos you have up and having that many photos is a lot of information, but it’s unclear where you are in there. Yes, they are all of you, but it’s like sharing unfiltered data. For instance, posting the same exact photo, one version unedited and one with a color filter, that doesn’t communicate anything to the folks looking through your photos. I would curate down to the top 5-10 images that you believe tell the story of who you are, ones that best express you, and maybe reveal the different facets of your personality and interests, etc.

Also, just to put down some perspective. I just clocked a profile that was created 10 minutes ago with zero information and 1 attractive female photo. Already has over 100 views, 10 messages, and 70 photo likes. Guys, you have to understand the numbers these women are facing. You can't be absent. Put in the reps.

There are boudoir photographers online who post poses, for both men and women. You might want to check out some of those videos

As a former boudoir occasional photographer I will say a great deal of what I produced was lies dressed up like filth. Leaving a lot to the imagination without showing anything at all. If I'd actually shot what it looked like I'd shot then husbands and boyfriends would have killed me by now.

Never have your body straight on, it really does add weight. So turn slightly.
Don't be looking down, or frequently straight on even, it makes the neck look thick.
Use angles to your benefit. And furniture/walls/anything. It's all camouflage.
Take a load of pictures with no intention of using them and look to see what works. Then do it again.

I did so more research. The data (last 7 days, all male photos, full age range, worldwide) the highest average for any photo of any quality or effort was 10 likes. The majority of these were selfies with a lot of nostril 🤦🏽‍♂️

Gym or bare skin was at the lowest range, and the more homeless and unemployed people look the higher the count.

I find this odd, since these are male and female likes and I did expect the numbers to be higher.

Allowing male photos into my feed made this whole thing make sense, so many photos flooding in all the time.

I expect most people are filtering out men's photos all together so they can navigate this site.

Conclusion, take good pictures like the others mentioned, but don't treat your like count as a good indication of a good photo.
