Entering a dynamic

What is the proper etiquette on getting into a dynamic? Does the dominant person have to initiate it always?

Can you be in multiple dynamics at once? Can you be a submissive in one and a domme in another?

In my experience I’ve like when girls say/ask me what I’m into, but every dom is different and of course you can be sub in one relationship and be dom in another, you’re a switch and there is nothing wrong with exploring both of your sides

There isn’t a set of rules, it’s preference. I don’t think I’ve ever initiated or pursued.

You can be in multiple, again it’s preference.

As long as you clearly state your needs, they clearly state theirs, and you both stay within those limits, you are all good.

Mmm I think it’s gonna range. For the initial dynamic I ask the sub to request it when they’re ready. Then we set up a time to negotiate. The for actual collaring- there’s a whole different process. (For me). I think I treat the initial dynamic and power exchange a lot like dating.

Yes to both questions- as long as everyone involved is aware and has informed consent.

Before we started the dynamic. I gave my ex submissive a Command. I said Goddess wanted him to show her his toys. He then asked if he should order a strap on & harness. To which I answered. If you Fucking know what's good for you. He showed me what toys he chose online & asked for my permission to buy them. He then made a written contract. We both read & signed it. He waited to open the toys until I went to his apartment for the first time. Then we Played 😈

Absolutely not. Its a mutual contract so to speak, the offer can come from either party. Sure dominant accepting sub contracts could be seen as counter dynamic. But its a mutual understanding, and if both parties don't mutually agree it fails. So if accepted fine, if not not fine

If you haven’t initiated or been pursued, how did the dynamic start? I assume there would have to be some conversation, right?

The collaring is after the dynamic has been established for some time, correct? Or is it immediate?

So who presents the contract? Is it something the dom usually already has written up?

Thank you for saying there’s nothing wrong with exploring both. ☺️

I would say that your submissive knows they are Owned. After a certain amount of time has passed in the dynamic, & they have proven themselves to be obedient, honest, respectful & worthy of you. The Dominant shall choose when to Collar their submissive.

Dynamic rules should always mutually be agreed upon, not just one sided by the Dom. Monogamy vs poly is also something that should be decided together.

There is no "right or wrong" as long as all parties are consenting. You can to co-create a dynamic that works for the 2 of you!

Collaring, in the olde guard way- is your dynamic equivalent of a vanilla wedding ring. Pomp and circumstance as well as a lead up. Some people rush into it, but it really should take some lead up.

I believe it begins with an offer not a requirement. The contract is a mutual agreement of trust and i believe in depth understanding of others desires and wishes. When it doesn't line up, it should end or it will be toxic.

Don’t confuse a Dom with being macho. Never trust a Dom for hire if they don’t want to understand you. Remember being a sub means giving your complete trust and control to someone.

I don’t think I trust any men in general 😬😔 I just yearn to meet a good one and trust him enough to submit. I just like gaining the knowledge so I’ll know when it’s time. 🤗

Nope! This is often misunderstood. In my humble opinion, both parties have power. The sub can express the need to have a Dom and suggest the person they want. When they give their submission, it’s a gift the Dom must earn and treasure.

Communicate your desires, be open, honest, and blunt. Negotiations are key to success.

Then enjoy! Best of luck in your search.

My ex submissive drafted the contract. He wanted to be my 24/7 submissive. Then we discussed his hard/ soft limits. Looking back, I definitely should have taken the reigns regarding the contract. My ex submissive needed to be kept on a tight leash.

If you feel inclined to share, what are some things you would add if you had to do it over?
