Not just here but generally, the whirl of chats is mostly ppl who know each other sending one-worders to each other. This is very exclusionary. Just as in real life you would never walk up to a group of chatting strangers and butt in to their convo. I have dipped my toes in the chatroom lobby on occasion, but it is the typical experience. I have said 'hello' and a couple of peeps have waved back, but that is all. What I think would improve things is for people to ask questions of newbies in order to get them included, taking queues from their profile, and make a genuine attempt to get to know them. For this to work it would need a filter to weed out the 'here's my cock' merchants etc. Paid membership would work as the filter, but this then excludes people like myself who are trying to get a feel for the site before forking out the readies.
