What is the process of becoming a male pornstar?

A couple of other minor points to mention too from my experience.

1) I had to change my diet and plan meals around a film schedule. eg. Not a good idea having a hot curry night before a shoot. There is always risk of 'dirt' issues with anal sex and nobody wants to see that on film so there is much more prep involved than joe public are aware of, both in terms of diet, douching etc.

2) Videos are heavily edited and can end up suggesting to the viewer that things happened in a certain way whereas reality was totally different. eg. I did a video where supposedly thirty men used me one after the other. The reality was far different. After every couple of guys there were toilet and drink breaks, I was cleaned up, douched etc and the video was filmed over two days not a few hours as suggested by the editing. There were not thirty guys either, only half that. They changed clothes beween scenes and in some cases waxed or shaved to give appearance of more cocks than actually there. This leads people who watch porn to believe things are so simple or exciting or buuild up fantasies that in reality cant be achieved.

diet is a big one actually

eating sensibly is always a good idea regardless of what type of scene you're doing - I tend to eat something sensible in advance so I've food on my stomach but not bloated - I take light snacks for during the day and usually have a bigger meal at the end

any form of anal/receiving then yep considering diet in the build up is massive aside from any prep.

there are still some bizarre ideas I've not entirely put to the test - there's a producer I know (who, actually, *is* someone guys can approach - because he runs bukkake parties so simply turning up with certs and signing a waiver and you can be involved - but - the guys do pay in to be there... it is, however, a good way to meet people) and he seems to feel that 'typical' men often sell a little better - you know, dad bods, generally average, etc.

but there's a lot of producers will only book the more muscle/toned guys - and so that involves staying in shape - some of the ladies are similar too; and there's stuff I kinda understand.   To give two different reasons.... one was someone who felt if she was working with someone on a collab she'd have to be confident she can sell it.  I guess again, not wanting to be an expensive risk.    Another is very simple that she does get booked on a lot of stuff and isn't always booked with guys she is attracted to. Fair, it's the job, she turns up, paid, leaves.   But did decide to reach out to some other folk in a "it'd be nice to have people I'm actually attracted to" kinda way.

Yes, agreed @eyemblacksheep. I think people assume you turn up for a video, it takes an hour and you go home with £500.....

Reality is, you have had to prep for that video days in advance from changes in diet, meal planning, getting waxed and even getting your teeth polished and all other aspects of personal care and grooming.

The video filiming might span a day or more or even involve foreign travel so you need passports etc. On top of all the tests you need. Many of my videos were filmed abroad, partly because of legal reasons, some countries have lax laws or different age restrictions compared to uk  us etc although even Thailand has now banned castration and other genital modificatiins by back street 'doctors' AFAIK so there are fewer places for the extreme stuff to legally be filmed.

Then, certainly for me doing more extreme videos as I get older I find my body takes longer to recover after a video, several days or even weeks before I could do another video. So you can hardly have a career from it. It just paid a few of my bills.

I think the internet killed any chance of earning any decent *** from vanilla porn because most ***s these days are more than happy to shed their clothes and do porn for free...... so all that is left is the extreme stuff that is not allowed on mainstream sites or not legal or very limited supply of people willing to do it?

the international travel isn't *required* so much these days although people do it by choice especially if they want to film somewhere, or with someone, they wouldn't always get opportunity to.

And some of this all kinda above board in terms of collaborations, opportunities, etc. but some is a little... there's Western producers will travel to South America or Eastern Europe because of the cost of living - and so offering someone in Brazil or Romania a £100 day rate is going to benefit more people than offering similar in UK or US etc.

I'm actually unaware of anything which can be legally distributed that cannot be filmed in the UK but can elsewhere

But, yeah - this is getting a little leftfield to the style the OP would want to do - but people do charge extra if it's, say, spanking or caning scenes where they will be marked as it will affect their ability to work for the next few days.  Which is probably why actually, while a lot of female subs in these videos are professionals - a lot of amateur men are used, so just someone who is going to enjoy taking a free/discounted beating from a Pro Domme in exchange for it being filmed.

A lot of people do make good *** from porn - but the earning curve is steep.  Certainly most in the industry, like I say, being in front of the camera isn't their only industry-related job

Apologies to OP and @eyemblacksheep for going off on a tangent. The foreign trips were common for me back in 80's. Mind you, if you are filming outdoors, it rains 364 days a year in UK so filming in a country that has more chance of sun and warmth is a bonus lol

Wish the OP every success.

note: I loved working in Thailand, amazing country, friendly people and fantastic food.

I think some is a tangent, but also can be relevant - and also important on how a lot of things have changed.

Outdoors now is something that is... ugh, it's difficult to get away with - and some of this I feel more "yeah, that's totally understandable" than others.    So OnlyFans for example is no outdoors at all, unless it's like, your back garden.   But then... they've asked people to prove it's their back garden.

Clips4Sale does allow outdoors - but, and very simply, no members of the public should be seen... or heard.    Which is understandable

iWantClips needs to be confident it's a private location - so a public location "but no one is about" is not OK - but private woods, private land, private beach - is.  Which, ahem, has scope for applying inconsistently.

You could try it out by making an OF page, but I will say this. It's ALL about promotion and consistency
