Lo**** Posted January 29 Never ever assume somebody is on any contraceptive (or medication period) especially with the state of reproductive healthcare in places like the US. Many people can't afford it due to shoddy health insurance.
Deleted Member Posted January 31 Always ask. I know I can't be on bc. I've tried and it was awful. I let them no I prefer plan b instead because it doesn't have the same long lasting effects the bc did for me.

Has it become the standard or should we all still be confirming. Some people can't handle chemical birth control, an IUD, or other methods. I've certainly heard from a lot of men who claim an allergy to latex and then look dumbfounded when I tell them I brought polyurethane condoms. Don't assume. Bring your own with intent to use it.
