I find for me, it really depends on the type of sexual encounter I just shared with my mate.

Sometimes after more sensual and intimate gentle moments I really need that continued touch to allow my emotions to regulate and need comfort after being so ***.
Sometimes after a more aggressive session I don’t want to cuddle so much as I want to be babied and for my mate to assume caretaker responsibilities. Run a warm bath, wash my aching muscles, read me my favorite book and THEN when my physical self is soothed I will want the affectionate snuggling.
