The issue is the red flag of an immediate request,
DO**** Posted May 10 Yeah, I already knew this I live in Florida every hundred people I run into there’s only one real one
Ze**** Posted May 10 This is a HUGE problem on social media and I appreciate you bringing more awareness to it.
sa**** Posted May 10 There tonnes that don't mention moving off app til you message. I'm gonna guess 6 out of 10 profiles here are scammers.
ma**** Posted May 10 So many profiles out there trying to get you to join their ***am in the first few messages.
ac**** Posted May 10 Definite red flag. Been on the app for a couple of years now and these are my takeaways: 1- If the profile has only one picture, and specifically if that picture is of an extremely attractive person= suspicious 2- If that profile has little to no bio, or is overly lewd or sexually aggressive in said bio= slightly suspicious 3-If that profile is extremely new yet has a very high message/response count and ratio= suspicious, implies bot chatting 4- If that person almost immediately or even within the first day or two asks you to chat outside of the site, regardless of location, insta, X, ***am, etc. Stay safe and use cautious common sense everyone. If you feel weird about it, theres a more than 0% chance that your gut is telling you something and you should never take unwanted risks.
