BDSM Club - Finding and Cost (US based)

I am entirely new to BDSM clubs or what they cost and specifically how they are paid for so I'm looking for some guidance. To preface I have been scammed before so I am hyper vigilant and anxious.

The crux of the situation is this, I met someone online, we were talking and she had given me some tasks to complete throughout the week. (A okay with this) However she said she'd only meet for the first time at a BDSM club in Philly that she belongs to, I understood and asked for the contact info to join myself. The contact from the club reached out and told me it was $1000, upfront, no additional cost down the line, for toys or anything. This was too much for me, so my Mistress said she'd pay for half. This was fine with me, but where I really got scared/anxious, was the club would only accept Crypto or Razer Gold cards for payment. They said it was for privacy reasons, but I know both are common methods to scam people. Hence why I am posting this...for those with experience with BDSM clubs in the USA, what are the common payment methods accepted and what is the general cost you pay?

TLDR: For USA based BDSM clubs, what are the common payment methods accepted and general cost for membership?

Same thing here in UK Lad . Maybe your question will clarify how it's done and not reek scam 🤔 or someone explain why such untraceable ways of making payments ! I feel your anxiousness 🫡

I'm in the uk so cant give any advice apart from this sounds like a scam. Anyone asking for membership like this is 99% defo scam.
If you wish to continue then I would suggest you go visit the club, a drive by so to speak, google it for reviews ect. Dont pay anything to anyone until you see things are real with your own eyes.
Her saying she will pay half.... it's better a scammer get 500 than loose out on all the con x x

I am certain this is a scam, I’ve heard it too many times. Ultimately, is this really worth the risk? Was the experience so far THAT good?

Save your ***. Continue your search. Your gut is telling you everything you need to know. 🖤

So fetish clubs even around the world operate on a similar basis - but usually one of a couple of pricing structures - so here goes

Firstly you got your fetish parties, like say *** Garden, they tend to be ticketed and purchased in advance.  For some of these parties it can be a little pricey - TG is £37 including fees.
However, there can be cheaper regional events - I went to a new night last week which was £12.

These are usually events that hire out a club, put all the furniture spaces in, then charge people for tickets to hopefully make *** back.

---
There are a lot of dungeons in swingers clubs and a lot will host fetish events
For these you do need to typically be a member to get around some UK laws (as it's a private members club) there is one place locally I know it's around £10 per year, another £25.
You do, however, pay each time you go to an event there - and prices can vary.
But we're kinda typically for fetish events talking £10-£20

--
Separate to these there are Pro-Domme Parties and these can be pricey, two different structures - one is that it's usually a fixed price (£150-£250) for 3 hours and in this it's roughly unlimited play (but other guys will be present, often usually a max of 2 guys to each Domme)
And then those which are a little cheaper (£50-£60) but you then pay for mini-sessions (like £20 for 10 mins - i.e. 10 min foot worship, a flogging, etc)

--
If a club has a membership, there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to see the club - in person - before committing to a membership.

Most also have no reason not to take cash or card - and particularly anyone doing anything under the radar would take cash.

This is the same anywhere.

--

How the scam works is that it's the "you're not paying me, you're paying for a membership" angle which feels safer i.e. you might mentally think "well if things don't work out with the Mistress, I can visit the club any time and maybe meet others"

Incidentally, I just googled a bit
Found a fairly famous NYC Fetish club where membership is $40 per year
and a huge party in Florida where tickets are around $40

where do i find the florida one?

do you have google? I literally googled 'fetish clubs in America'

I am a member of a prodomme dungeon in nyc allows private room rentals. You get a room to yourself for $150/hr cash. No last name. You don’t see any other members. I prefer to pay for actual time used versus getting sucked into a membership fee.

Always sensible to ask when in doubt! Good on you. It does sound a scam, entirely!
