This is the companion poem to "Submission doesn't mean subjected" that I posted earlier.

an attempt at telling the same tale from the other viewpoint

Controlled loss of Control:

You didn’t take control

I gave it

You knew me as a whole

I craved it

I trusted you would know

How to feel the ebb and flow

Of power between us two

And the role I give to you

And so you took control

Of the aching in my soul

Knew the way to touch my skin

To set free the woman trapped within

For what I need from you

The things I wanted you to do

Were hard to say aloud

I thought they weren’t allowed

But when you are in charge

It somehow feels less hard

To let go my inhibition

To trust your intuition

This act of my submission

Giving you permission

To give in to your desires

Because they light my fires

And you satisfy my soul

With a controlled loss of control!
