I'm new to this whole scene, what's the best ways to be careful online when people ask for sensitive photos, I don't mind sending but I want to make sure I'm not getting blackmailed or something

Keep face out of it, try to make backgrounds plain if doing further away ones. This is a bit obvious but don’t send anything right away talk to the person and get to know them somewhat before sending anything build a level of trust

Vetting process. Research and Google BDSM vetting. You’ll discover flags that are not safe.

One flag i have discovered on this app, is if within the first 15 messages they ask to change apps to chat.
***am allows for expiring content that is deleted after viewing. However, screenshot may still be possible. I would generally advise trying to meet people rather engaging in online play with virtual strangers.

at it's simplest

first off don't send without being asked

if you are asked... who are they? what are they asking for? why would they ask? is this someone who you've been speaking to for a while who seems legit - or a newly created profile etc

“This scene” isn’t any different than any other dating app or online forum. Were you born yesterday? You have to define “sensitive” photo. A pic of your face and a pic of your groin with a unique feature can be equally “sensitive”. Generally, a photo of flesh that isn’t revealed in public is more likely to be regarded as sensitive. But if your a politician and only have a face pic on Fet, your going to get found and face (no pun intended) blowback.

If your suspect you sending a “sensitive” photo (by your standards) is potentially going to get you “blackmailed or *something*”, then you are either overestimating your socio-economic blackmail-abilty status, or you haven’t yet formed a cogent framework with behaving online.

Are you so important to anyone or any institution that the outside exposure of “sensitive” pics threatens your interpersonal relationship(s) or status within an institution? If no, you think to much of yourself and are way too anxious. If yes, trust me, if people against you want to find you, they will find you. Even if it’s just finding your post here.

Again, how much experience do you have in the internet? Honest question.
Just be straightforward and honest with them when communicating.

If you're faceless and I'm not on the site. I will definitely ask for your face picture. Is just fair isn't? And if you're too paranoid about it. GET OFF ONLINE DATING APPS. Just watch porn all your time and please yourself. LMAO!

The scammers don’t care, if they can they will take your pics try to get your name so they can blackmail you threatening to send the pictures and anything embarrassing you might have revealed. They will tell you to pay a fee to not get exposed. The reason they want to communicate on instagram is to get access to your friends/contacts, and basically extort you for as long as they can.
