Hello! ^^ I'm a little awkward with typing stuff but I'll give it a shot. I'm just trying to figure out the best places or kinds of people I could talk to or go to safely? I'm gynesexual if that helps?

I've never really been able to talk to people who share this interest. Maybe because I'm too goofy or just don't know the right places

It takes a while! Usually local queer clubs have some safe people. But you might not want to go alone, which means you’d have to take a friend with you. Also, it usually takes a while to get to know someone enough to even have any clue if they are or aren’t interested in these kinds of things. You have to be careful, but you also have to be more social. This isn’t the best advice but it’s the best I can do right now. I’m so tired…

Try going to munches. Start to get to know people around you in the community. Hopefully, some folks can steer you in the right direction. Good luck!

Honestly depends how confident you are in yourself
If you can try to go to events preferably munchies to start socialising with other like minded people however this can be daunting at first
The best thing is doing your research and keep trying on this app or on fetlife
Say you want to go to an event you can search for that on fetlife and then message a few people that you see going explaining you are new and slightly nervous- I’m sure they will reassure you and even show you to others etc

It takes serious courage to put yourself out there into unfamiliar situations. But it’s worth the effort. You’ll meet some amazing people, and maybe even redefine yourself along the way. It’s all a journey.
