That's a very good question ... and one I probably don't have the answer to since I haven't been on a date in years - perhaps forever since my only partners were friends first, so we didn't need dates to learn about each other.

But I'd guess that having phones 24/7 that can connect with anyone and anything means a lot less in-person meetings.

Perhaps someone with experience with munches or similar can provide some insight and I think I've seen related topics here recently.
