Where is the best place/website to get gear from in the UK so I can go and actually see and try what feels right for me.
Wanting to go to some events and meeting but need the gear first.

If your looking for cheap then bondara online website. There stuff is generally decent for the price otherwise skin two has two locations one in London and the other out of town where you can look through latex leather and pvc clothing

Bondara and Lovehoney are cheap online sources. Honour have locations near Waterloo in London and in Watford, as well as online. Trade fairs such as Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar or London Alternative Market allow physical inspection. A few kink events in dungeons or swingers clubs host a trader or two.

I like to go to the BBB Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar. It’s on once a month but has 3 floors of different traders.

So there are loads of markets (LAM, BBB, townhouse does one, noir night market…) for you to go and look around. We personally favour whips n sticks, fubar treasures, the swink shop, Cotswold wood art (their products are spectacular!), bearbite bondage, leather delights, 3nlisted (do NOT rate their customer service at all, the products are wonderful though). It really depends on what gear you want. Most of the above focus on impact toys. But you absolutely do not need the gear first. Munches are a great place to start and you go in your regular day clothes. Some venues and events offer kit to hire. Clothes to meet dress codes for events can be bought on Amazon or eBay while you find your style. Please don’t let a lack of possessions stop you from dipping a toe in!
