Do Doms submit?

In my opinion: the best part about being a dom is that you are submitting yourself to learning what your partner/sub needs and desires are. I don’t see being a dom as anything but a selfless role that commits to fulfilling the desires of their subjects pleasure and getting their own enjoyment from it. In a proper Scenario the dominant only appears to have full control, it’s actually the submissive who is in control.

That’s my point of view anyway.

I remember I used to watch a reality program called “don’t tell the bride” and it would have a montage. A scene whereby the husband and wife to be would be interviewed and they would both agree that the wife to be is “the boss” so therefore in my mind she was the dominant one.
But then in the montage the husband to be would be sitting on the couch reading or watching tv or playing video games and the bride to be would be would be cleaning and hoovering around him. Tbf that seems more like the husband to be is the boss. Her cleaning around him seems submissive to me. More of a maid like act. Idk many bosses who clean around their employees as they sit around watching tv haha😂

I think we submit all the time just differently. But more directly openly submitting for sure. I used to always make a point of watching a super sad movie when I started dating a girl when it was vanilla. Because I wanted her to see I was willing to cry and not be ashamed.

My philosophy has always been something like if you’re willing to let the lioness off the leash and she still comes back and lets you put it back on. That’s domination.
